Ah, so those 2 misfit segments I mentioned above were actually part of a full episode that continued on the next disc. I cut and pasted those here and continued on with the segment descriptions: unknown date, possibly 1998Captured: "Crazy" Charlie Rodriguez - Fugitive who committed multiple armed robberies and shot at police officers is caught. James Kinney - Man who bogusly claimed to be heir to Kinney shoe fortune is wanted for killing a young Washington state woman. Authorities believe he may have killed before. Amber Creek - Young female who was a runaway was found dead and listed as a Jane Doe for several months. Eventually identified as Amber Creek. Authorities now attempting to locate young male she was last seen with. Ira Einhorn - Different version segment that discusses the widespread support for Einhorn with French citizens. John bashes the French! Jeffrey Durham - I mentioned the update earlier, here is the regular segment. Jerry Springer narrates this piece about a bank robber who went on his show afterward and expressed his love for a transvestite. Says Durham is skilled at climbing (sometimes going up to the 5th floor to commit crimes) and is very adept at evading police and figuring out their surveillance tactics. Tim Mariner - Is missing. Anyone have anything on this one? I've got zilch. Also, a segment on child pornography and predators and the internet. 21 year-old Christopher Black was apprehended in Queens, and Sam Manzi was apprehended after killing young Eddie Werner after being a victim himself. Not sure if these were ever profiled on the show, though I'm guessing not. In 2014, James Eaton was arrested for the Amber Creek murder and pled guilty in 2016: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Amber_CreekI didn't find any information on Tim Mariner on google unfortunately.

Oh wow, it's interesting to see a lot of recent solves. I'm glad these perps are still being caught.
From the very quick AMW blurb on Tim Mariner, I gathered he was 16 years old and 6'3 at the time of his disappearance. He vanished on a Wednesday afternoon from the Catholic University of America campus, which looks like it's in Washington, D.C.

Illinois restaurant massacre - Another famous one. 7 people gunned down in Palantine, IL in 1993 during closing time at a family chicken restaurant. John Walsh mentions they recently discovered the perp's fingerprints and are awaiting to match it to someone. 100k reward offered. (I swore this was featured on another crime show and if anyone has it, please contact me as I'm dying to see it again. I seem to recall two of the victims were a middle aged husband and wife and their daughter was supposed to work that night, but didn't. She later discovered the bodies). Hi walshfan! Sorry I'm a little late to the game, but I wanted to thank you for providing summaries of all these episodes! I didn't see an update on this case, but there has been one; in May 2002, the case was solved with the arrests of Juan Luna and James Degorski. An ex-girlfriend of Degorski's came forward and told police everything she knew about the case. Apparently Degorski bragged about it but threatened to kill her if she told anyone. Nearly a decade later, the woman was long broken up with Degorski and was now married with her own family. One night she couldn't sleep and told her husband about everything. He convinced her to go to the police and she told them everything as well, including details that had never been released publicly. Both Luna and Degorski were convicted, and I believe both are serving life.

Based on my memory of the old AMW site, I believe this episode was from late December 1998. After Jimmy "Linus" Turner was aired, a tipster revealed his true name as Dennis Ronald Scott and led to his arrest in Alabama in July 1999. He is Capture #574. Carlton Edwards committed suicide right after this episode aired: www.nytimes.com/1998/12/25/us/in-suicide-letter-regrets-for-killing-daughter.html?src=pmStephen Touissant's body was found in July of 1999: www.cbc.ca/news/canada/decomposing-body-helps-solve-a-old-toronto-crime-1.188944The remains of Rachel Newhouse were later found on the property of convicted sex offender Rex Allan Krebs. Rex was sentenced to death for Rachel's murder and the murder of another woman: murderpedia.org/male.K/k/krebs-rex-allan.htmElrick Wynn is still a fugitive to this day. He wasn't profiled again until he was given two airings in 2011: amwfans.com/thread/1264/elrick-wynn-florida-1998

Also it remains to be seen if you have this particular episode, but sometime in 1998, AMW did a 10th anniversary episode profiling longtime fugitives still at large. I can't wait to see if that episode comes up.

I checked on Newslibrary and found that Tim had been found alive and safe in Ohio right after he disappeared. It was a runaway case, and no crime had been committed.

As usual, here are some updates for this episode. Alvaro Ochoa: This was his last profile on AMW, with his first airing being in 1994. He's still at large to this day. amwfans.com/thread/515/alvaro-humberto-ochoa-arizona-1994Jamie Edwards: He became AMW Capture #753 in 2003 after a tipster led to his arrest in Antigua in the Caribbean. We don't know however what the result of his trial was. Leah Rowlands Killer: He was also aired in 1997 and 2002. He has never been identified. One of these unsolved murders that should have been solved years ago in my opinion, but for some reason no one has ever recognized him. amwfans.com/thread/643/unknown-leah-rowlands-killer-nebraskaEDIT: If I remember correctly from the old website, Mario Pallango was wanted out of Florida. If so then he's not on the Florida Statewide Warrants Search, meaning at some point he would have been located.

I think Joseph Bocklett was arrested later that year, but I'm not certain. Pretty sure AMW first aired him in 1995. Wilda Ira Stokes is for some reason a fugitive that has not been caught. This was his only airing. amwfans.com/thread/1184/wilda-ira-stokes-alabama-1999

Captured: Martin Allen Johnson - Child rapist has been captured.

Amy Watkins - Young lady dedicated to helping children and battered women was stabbed to death in Brooklyn and her bag stolen.
Washington, D.C. Starbucks murders - Tipster who broke the case open speaks.
