I saw your again comment about Chaka Raysor and Seaberry and it reminds me of how shocking it was when he just up and turned himself in, and specifically mentioned it was because he couldn't take the pressure anymore from how many times he had been on AMW.
I'm not shocked that he was captured, but that he turned himself in. It was one of the more surprising surrenders in AMW history in my opinion. (I'd say Nicholas "Little" Nicky Corrozo was imo the most shocking since he was a mob guy even John Gotti feared- and yet even that couldn't compare to the pressure AMW made some of these fugitives feel over their 24 plus years).

Captured: Keith Bender - Former New Mexico police officer arrested in connection with a casino robbery, his two accomplices remain unidentified and uncaptured. Carmine Galante - Wanted for brutal murder in a New York City nightclub. Gonzalo Hernandez Villalobos - Wanted for shooting a young man -- Joey Cornell -- to death. The families of the two men had been feuding and Gonzalo's son had committed statutory rape on Joey's 13 year old sister. James Bennett - 10th airing in 6 years on this case. Barbara Barnes - Maine tavern owner killed by her son Mark. Matthew Hunt, Luis Garcia & Kevin Shirley - Three New Mexico teens killed in their car by unknown assailant with unknown motives. Peter Arro & Jason Corey - Wanted for stealing 6 million dollars from people through telephone scam. Tom Van Burk - Has escaped from prison (quickie profile). Chaka Raysor & Michael Seaberry - Again! Captured: Melissa Felonio - Woman who murdered another woman in New York City because she was jealous of her looks has been arrested in the Dominican Republic (I profiled this one earlier). Captured: Frank Nathan - Man who murdered two members of his drug gang because he thought they were informants apprehended. Eric Wallver - Louisiana youth killed while delivering pizzas. Occurred on 4/4/98 (partial segment). I'm unsure about the spelling of the names on those last three.
Gonzalo Hernandez Villalobos was thankfully arrested in July 2000 in Great Neck, New York. Ninderjit Singh was arrested in California in 2011. Joseph Bocklett - Is wanted for molesting his 4 year old stepdaughter.
Captured: Betty & Bubba - Female lovers have been captured (one had previously been an inmate and the other worked for the prison and helped the other escape).
Captured: Percy Froman - Man who was being billed as "The Next Andrew Cunanan" has been captured.

Forgot to reply to this episode summary. Here I am though. The Baby Michael John Doe case is still unsolved to this day. Based on the case, I can confirm this episode was the May 22, 1999 show. From what I read recently on Newspapers.com, AMW first gave Ira Einhorn a lengthy profile in late 1991 (it was described as longer than normal). I can tell that throughout the 90s, JW took that case really personally. |

Did they show actual photos of Baby Michael's body during the profile? On AMW's old, pre-2004 site, this case was listed under the "Additional Cases" for North Carolina, and they showed photos of the baby's actual body. Later on they redid the section with a disclaimer saying: "WARNING! Graphic material inside" |

Byron Jones - Wanted for shooting at hundreds of people after being kicked out of an L.A. nightclub, injuring seven. Later arrested in another place with the initials LA - Louisiana - on drug charges, but made bail.
FBI Ten Most Wanted List - Lots of movement as 3 openings become available. Henry "Taco" Bowman was arrested, as well as a few terrorists I believe. Osama bin Laden gets added, as does James Kopp (wanted for killing a doctor in Buffalo, NY). No replacement yet named for Taco's place.
John Tower Doe - Name given to unknown, young murder victim found in the Las Vegas desert, originally thought to be female, they know believe he's a male.
Band-Aid Bandit - Again.
Dorien Thomas - Again.
William Stabler Jr. - Again.
Albert Velarde - Is wanted for molesting a boy.
Richard Burdick - Convicted of raping his stepchildren. May be traveling with the children's mother, Gayle Harris.

Byron Caesar Jones was arrested thanks to an AMW tipster on June 30, 1999 in Fort Worth, Texas. He is Capture #573. On August 6, 1999, an AMW tipster identified the Tower John Doe as 14-year old Michael Rainey. Despite him being a missing child identification and not a fugitive, he is Capture #577. I found what I believe is a recent article mentioning his case is still unsolved. www.lasvegasnow.com/news/iteam-decades-of-death-in-the-desert-perplex-investigators/75481383From what I've seen online, I can tell Albert Velarde was still wanted as of 2006 possibly (I have checked archived law enforcement wanted pages in the past). Nothing current that mentions what his case status is. Jose Luis Saenz would get a much larger profile in 2009 when he was linked to a fourth murder. He was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List and was caught in Mexico in November of 2012. |

Thomas Velechio - Killed his uncle with a sword and set him on fire. Known drug user. Wanted out of Miami, FL.
Dennis Williams - Again.
Katie Poirer - Again.
David Holt - Sam's Club manager and father was apparently abducted after closing the store on 6/21/98 (Father's Day). Later forced to go back into the store and open the safe. The perp stole money from the safe, the video surveillance tapes, and later killed Holt. Happened near Augusta, GA.
Captured: Keith Gardner - Triple murderer of three relatives from recent broadcast caught.
Jimmy "Linus" Turner - Again.
Rene Rojas - Shot a man, no other info available.

In regards to the murder of David Holt, several people were arrested in that murder back in 2001. The killers were later convicted according to google results: chronicle.augusta.com/stories/2001/03/31/met_310158.shtml#.Wg82TUqnF1sLarry Burns was a longtime AMW fugitive who was aired from 1993 all the way until 2007. In 2010, a website tipster led to his apprehension in Long Beach, California, making him Capture #1124. He has since been convicted and sentenced to seven decades in prison. |
