This is a good although it is still very hard to get fugitive cases out of Boston and Massachusetts overall besides the state police most wanted lists. The Boston P.D. will post fugitive cases but there's a lot of them where the fugitive was captured and they never updated it and/or no way to confirm he/she is still at large. But still a good start for unsolved cases at least!

Wishing all our Jewish friends a happy Shana Tova! (Rosh Hashanah). I consider myself of Jewish faith but non-practicing but it is still a nice time of the year to reflect regardless.

I just want to say we've been getting good up-to-date information for cold case New Jersey fugitives lately, which is a nice change. This would include threads for Andre Fleurentin, Amado Rosales and Jose Luis Mora. Now we just need good up-to-date information for cold case New York fugitives.

In the wake of Amber Guyger's Murder conviction for those who dont know the case it was about a Dallas police officer Guyger was involved in a conversation with her partner it involved them being in the middle of setting up a date when she took the wrong floor and entered the wrong apartment and killed Botham Jean who was unarmed and watching tv and eating a bowl of ice cream

Yeah I was glad to see her convicted- absolutely incredulous to me some people could justify a man being shot to death when he was literally inside his own apartment minding his own business. The jury saw a lot more than we did, and found her liable.
Just another note if you ever wanted to discuss a trial in the news or crime in the news, in addition to replying to daily chit-chat you're always more than welcome to create a new thread in the off-topic section as well.

This case also reminds me a little of the murder of Jordan Edward's was shot by Roy Oliver who was a racist in middle school as it was revealed during his murder trial he was convicted of firing his ar 15 assualt rifle and killed Edward's in the car as it was driving away I kind of understand because they heard gunshots that originated from a area in Balch Springs that could have been a area for Gang Members who were in a firefight with other in the parking lot of a friggin retirement home that is where they heard the gunshots no guns alcohol or drugs were found in the party house or in the car Edward's was was in

Just wanted to express my condolences as two people were killed at a synagogue in Germany today on Yom Kippur. As some of you may now, although I am no longer practicing/observant and come from a mixed-religion background, I still consider myself Jewish and it was very sad news to wake up to this morning. Although the last few years of this decade in particular have tested my optimism, I still have hope for society things can get better. Unfortunately, there will also be setbacks where they will get worse as well. My thoughts are with the victims and their families. www.cnn.com/2019/10/09/europe/attack-halle-germany-grm-intl/index.html

Want to congratulate the Washington Nationals on making the World Series! They have been supporters of John Walsh's National Center for Missing & Exploited Children ever since they've been in D.C., and hold special NCMEC nights where proceeds of ticket sales go to the NCMEC. I'm still going to have to root for the Yankees if they make the World Series (right now that doesn't look good as we're down 2-1 thanks to what in my opinion are dumb moves by our manager, but I'm digressing), but while I still hope we win the WS after all, if we HAVE TO lose it, I'd rather lose to the Nationals than any other team in the NL. But yeah, congrats to them!

Just a warning to all of us I will probably be in a bad mood for the next few days thanks to the Yankees losing the ALCS to the Houston Astros in heartbreaking fashion. (Game tied- and walk-off 2-run homer by the Astros to win the series in Game 6). With that being said, let's go Washington Nationals! Lol.

IMO,when we lost game 2,it seemed like we lost all the momentum as well.

Yeah and also all of a sudden not being able to score when there were runners in scoring position- something they were the best at in the regular season.
I know we've won a lot of championships but they're still my team and it still stinks when they lose lol.
