I started watching LIVE PD recently. Great show! I still try to watch Live PD from time to time. The show is definitely a step up from COPS and they do brief wanted and missing children features. Also not only is Tom Morris a co-host, but former correspondent Angeline Hartmann is sometimes featured during the missing children segments.

Was talking about this in a somewhat related matter with HeadMarshal, but does anyone just have a week where everything they do is dumb? Like more clumsy or forgetful than usual or not reading something as comprehensively as usual etc... I feel, to quote Trump, I am, like, a very smart person. I was on the honor roll at school, got into honors classes etc and while most or many human beings doubt themselves about everything my intelligence is one of the things I have high self-esteem about and never or very rarely if ever doubt myself about... but everything I've done for like a week has been I feel has been dumb or not thinking as well I normally do and I'm wondering if I became Homer Simpson and a crayon got accidentally lodged in my brain lol. P.S. Coffee usually helps, the problem is too much is no good for me as it makes me too hyper, keeps me up etc... lol.

Lay off the coffee for awhile lmao ☺️, just kidding I had those kind of weeks when I was in high school, and for me it’s mainly because I chose to sleep at odd times like 1 or 2 am and forcing myself to wake up at 6 am, it’s just not pleasant sleeping a few hours and that’s when people start forgetting things and just don’t focus too well in school. Also I must point out that daylight savings time starts this weekend so that means an hour less of sleep.

I mentioned this in another thread but up until November of 2016 it had been site policy (only my policy for myself) that while others were free to give their political opinion- I felt it was important to for the most part to stay out of politics due to my role as the main administrator. (Which was somewhat easy as a relative political moderate). I felt neutrality was the best for the "boss" so to speak as to not make the site look like it had an agenda.
However, I just wanted to say this current dumpster fire of a Presidential administration has left me no choice and I feel being on the right side of history is more important than being neutral so I am abandoning that policy (at least until there's a new President) and I will be a lot more vocal from now on. I can't sit back on the sidelines and just like AMW, sometimes you need to advocate and stand up for your beliefs and what you feel is right.

After things with the 45th Administration took one too many turns for the worse, I'd have to concur that your code of political neutrality has long since run its course and isn't feasible anymore. A lot of others on the internet have changed this way, so you're not alone.

Though it's been almost a week since my last post on this thread, I ordinarily feel bad about double posting. However...
Over the past few days, I've been deeply disturbed about a disgraced Roman Catholic pastor recently arrested in Boise, Idaho. His name was W Thomas Faucher, and his case stands out from other child molestation suspects because of what investigators have found in his online history. Apparently, he'd been chatting online with other particularly dangerous sexual predators about his latent desires to sexually murder children. At more than 7 decades old, if he gets locked away for long enough, he might not have much chance of ever getting released alive, but I feel badly because the citizenry and the district attorney are judicially powerless to use Faucher's suspected sexual murder fantasies as evidence or warrant to automatically revoke all his eventual chances of parole (or whatever would need to be done to guarantee he can't carry those fantasies out).

Honestly since Faucher is 72 years of age, I would have investigators look back all the way to the 1970s and onward for any unsolved missing child/child murder cases in the area(s) he resided over the years. I understand that every sexual predator has the potential to murder their future victims, but chatting about it openly on the internet (most likely on the dark web) is especially disturbing.

Honestly that is very distressing, someone even having those kind of fantasies is just too far gone. As Head Marshal pointed out, he needs to be investigated thoroughly. Honestly this is why I prefer harsher sentences on child sexual abusers than non-violent drug offenders because what they are doing is messed up enough by depriving them of their childhood and innocence, but they also have the possibility of being unpredictable and desire of doing something sadistic.

Didn’t know where to post this, but honestly this is one of the most intriguing unidentified persons cases the world has seen. The image of the individual standing in front of tanks became the 20th century’s most iconic image. Yes I am talking about the Tank Man from 1989 in Beijing, China. So the backstory to this is back in the spring of 1989, China had many unhappy people protesting wanting reforms and more freedoms, and it all came to a head on June 4, 1989 when the military massacred thousands. The following day on June 5 things were still tense, but many western journalists would capture this iconic moment when an unidentified man with a white shirt and black pants carrying bags, stopped in front of tanks causing them to stop. Subsequently the man was pushed off to the side by other bystanders, his fate remains unknown to this day. Many think he was possibly taken into custody and eventually executed, or that he is still alive and not knowing about his fame due to censorship in China and the government there doesn’t even know who he is, or fled to Taiwan after the 89 protests. Any thoughts?? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tank_Man

Not sure and will probably be a mystery that will never be solved. But definitely one of the most iconic images of the 1900s and the 1980s in particular.

Somewhat off-topic but glad there were no major captures today. I usually love major captures today (Easter and Passover) but with it being April Fool's Day, I wouldn't be sure whether or not to believe it!

Honestly I decided to quote your response till now, since it’s been a hectic week on Twitter for me, I just try to point out facts when it comes to issues like immigration and how I feel everyone has a right to come to this country as long as they’re not a criminal, and then you have these MAGA fans or these “federalists”, just blowing up the notifications saying that they have no right to be here, that I’m an anti-American fool, that I supported Obama “the Muslim”, and that he messed up Honduras which I can argue it was messed up thanks to the failed Cold War policies and having their leaders as our puppets engaging in a violent drug war and bad economic policies, finally another said the world did a good thing by electing someone who doesn’t think like me. We’re all entitled to our opinions, especially with the fact that immigration is a subject very dear to my heart, that all this debating its really relentless, especially right now since we are at our lowest point in our country’s history. Honestly it’s a week I just want to forget about, but then again, it’s the harsh reality of the volatile environment that we live in. I took Scumhunter’s words that I’m quoting right now to heart and decided why not take the punches of a debate if i believe and think about something so much. So I probably wouldn’t have had that courage had it not been for Scumhunter. 😊

Twitter you can be a lot more anonymous and as a result a lot more of an a-hole which is what these people are doing. I realize Facebook isn't perfect as we've seen in recent weeks. But while of course there are trolls there as well, Twitter is king of the trolls lol.
