So the latest official article update is October 2021 where he was still in a Mexican jail but there was a brake in extradition. (If I used the translation site correctly).
A Facebook page claims he was eventually extradited and sentenced but there is nothing to support the validity of that page or their claims.
That is what we have and now we just have no choice but to wait for future articles.
There was a Spanish language article I read from this year that talked about Ravelo, Caro-Quintero and a couple of other drug kingpins that their extraditions have been halted due to the fact that they’re denying their identities as a way to prolong their detention in Mexico.
