Nice to see. Although as horrible as Ravelo is allegedly, I feel like investigative work rather than the public giving tips will be his undoing. I think it would also be if his associates that have been caught can offer some insight or can talk about where Ravelo is. I do agree investigative work will bring him in since they dug up those images from 1992 and the recordings. |

I must add that under the new sketch that came out in this case a month back, it doesn’t say age progressed sketch/drawing like it did with Glen Godwin, but instead it says Composite sketch, which leads me to believe that based on intelligence reports and informants testimony and managed to draw out that sketch.
I hope investigators are close to getting Ravelo, as we could finally close this another Pre-2010 & 2015 case before the decade is out.

I believe you are right, but considering how he always has armed bodyguards, I don’t think he will go quietly. Thing is, even if he altered his fingerprints as has been alleged, they can still use those tattoos to ID him. No way he could burn those tattoos off. |

I remember a few years back when Vicente Carrillo Fuentes was arrested in 2014 in Torreon, Mexico.... it sort of came to me that there’s also a possibility that Ravelo May be hiding out there with several of his lieutenants laying low in multiple residences.

Say, there's a new composite sketch of Ravelo on the FBI's website. Anyone know of the origin? Is this based on a recent sighting or is it an age-enhanced sketch?

Thing is, I think Ravelo is deep underground at the moment. The sketch helps, but I think raising the reward would also help. |

Also I don’t buy the possibility that he is possibly deceased due to health problems or has any, since rumors would have already arisen in this case to the degree it has with guys like Juan Esparragoza Moreno (2014) after an alleged car accident, Homero Cárdenas Guillén (2014) after an alleged heart attack, & Juan Mejia González (2012) after allegedly losing a power struggle within the Gulf Cartel & the alleged banners being posted alleging his death. Perhaps maybe it just isn’t about the rumors and more about the fact that Ravelo is just extremely reclusive.
Also Ciudad Juarez has had its murder rate decrease since 2012 and that’s due to the fact that the Sinaloa Cartel defeated the Juárez Cartel and of course not long after, Vicente “El Viceroy” Carrillo Fuentes, was taken into custody.
According to the Mexican Government, the Juárez Cartel is now a second tier organization on par with Barrio Azteca and La Línea, perhaps this indicates that they are likely putting up resistance to the Sinaloa cartel or as maddog mentioned, he likely went underground into hiding.

Not exactly, Los Zetas are also beginning to weaken as well and while other organizations are becoming weak or have been disbanded, the CJNG (Jalisco New Generation Cartel) has been increasing its influence and its brutality. The Sinaloa cartel could be weakened if Rafael Caro Quintero, and Ismael Zambada are caught/killed. If Ravelo was killed due to infighting in the BA, they would have put up banners stating that by now. So it’s safe to say Ravelo is in hiding somewhere in the state of Chihuahua or somewhere in the area of Torreon. |
