Yeah exactly. And yeah I know in prison they try to separate prisoners convicted of crimes against children from general population for their own safety- but hey if even Whitey Bulger (I guess he's a theme tonight) can be gotten to, anyone can.

Unfortunately some very awful news that Honduras’s President was considering abolishing the extradition treaty with the United States as he’s come under fire with allegations of drug trafficking as his brother was arrested and sent to the U.S. to face drug charges. This article is from 2019, but has talked about abolishing it as recently as March 2021. insightcrime.org/news/analysis/how-his-extradition-policy-exposed-honduras-president/

Thats unfortunate then you have the irony that's the only fugitives they've really been extraditing (Eric Conn was a rare exception since he was an American there illegaly) have been drug cases.

They’ve also arrested an American citizen (of Honduran descent), who was sought for murder in Texas in 2019 I believe and he was only arrested after he beat his girlfriend while in Honduras, they found out he was in the country illegally and sent him back.

The FBI just bumped up Flores to to the top of the section he's currently the "headliner" for the week. Has that ever happened before? I mean in the past few years at least, obviously before 2018 it happened.

Oh ok nevermind then so got my hopes up they're still generally not publicizing the manhunt besides occasionally bumping him up

Oh ok nevermind then so got my hopes up they're still generally not publicizing the manhunt besides occasionally bumping him up I find it telling that even Pedro Peralta gets an age progressed image, having been on the run since 2006, but nothing on Alexis Flores whatsoever despite spending 14 years on the Top Ten List. I mean heck even the U.S. Military was in Honduras to rescue a woman who was the victim of a violent crime. www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-military-raid-freed-woman-held-in-honduras-11584993635

Just wanted to state that despite our fears this case is being ignored there is still an active federal warrant(s) in PACER search. There have been no new events since 2008 which is actually a good thing because usually the only new events are withdrawing of warrants. ecf.paed.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/iqquerymenu.pl?226652

I wonder what’s going to happen to Alexis Flores now that every single notorious longtime fugitive except him have come off the list.

That is why I do wonder about the correlation between Yulan Carias being added and Alexis Flores being the only 00s era fugitive still on the list. It gives me hope that maybe there is some kind of deal going on there.

I was going to mention: if he is still on the list, they must have some good Intel/tips on him, and there may be some deal with the Honduran Government we don’t know about.

I honestly have no idea how these people can live with themselves knowing the horrible inhumane things that they did.

I just noticed something going through the entire FBI Top Tenner roster: Jason Derek Brown was added to the list 6 months after Flores was. This tells me one of two things:
1) They apparently have a very promising lead on him in Honduras, OR;
2) The Honduran Government has some arrangement where if we take Archaga Carias off their hands, they will also give us Flores.
They would have taken him off the list if they couldn't think of any other reason to continue to keep him on the list, and so this tells me they have info on Flores they aren’t telling us.

I'm going to go ahead and say you're probably right on option number 2. The FBI has uncovered about 0 new information since he was added in 2007, no age enhanced pictures, nothing, yet he's still on and has outlived Brown and Fisher, who in theory would be easier to capture. There's got to be some sort of deal going on. Makes sense because Archaga Carias is a terrible addition himself in my opinion, compared to what kinds of fugitives get put on the list.
