And yeah normally I don't really read too much into the order- but when it's the first time in years, I find that interesting.

Flores has always been bumped up to the Top of the Top Ten Section, they don’t really skip him like Mogilevich and much later with Gerena.
Flores is kinda like Brad Bishop & Glen Godwin where they kept rotating him around despite the lack of tips towards the end.

My bad for some reason I thought he hasn't been bumped up in a while. So yeah there is still an odd quietness on the manhunt.

Since it’s been 20 years since Robert Fisher vanished, I wanted to touch base on this case as well.
I am pretty disappointed in how much coverage Iriana Dejesus got on her 20th anniversary, it was null, and I sound like a broken record, but there hasn’t really been an effort made in making age progressed images or even update his poster in some way, and he’s the only long running fugitive to not have that.
This is a brutal murder and it deserves to be on the list, but if investigators have said they receive 1-2 tips a week on Fisher, I tend to wonder what goes on with Alexis Flores behind the scenes especially since they haven’t updated his poster since 2007. On YouTube there have been so many podcasts discussing Robert Fisher, Jason Brown, and even former Ten Most Wanted Brad Bishop had a bunch done on him since his removal, Flores has had a couple done on him too, and there have been a lot of these podcasts done on these guys since at least 2018/2019.
In all honesty I just don’t know about this case at the moment, I’m torn as to whether he should be removed from the Top Ten or perhaps a miracle is happening behind the scenes through negotiations, but the only thing I could hope is that Alexis Flores joined one of the caravans from out of Honduras in recent years and either ended up in Mexico or back in the United States, where he could be captured without much of a hassle.
Also I don’t want to hear any political crap about the caravans I just brought it up as it could be a possibility as Flores’s life in Honduras may not be peaches and cream to say the least.

The FBI has for all essential purposes stopped publicizing the manhunt for Flores. So the only two possible scenarios are either that there's a miracle in the works or they've unfortunately "given up" (it's the FBI so they'll never give up entirely but as far as the top ten list is concerned where they just send him to the "regular" sections a la Glen Godwin and Victor Verena to make room for a new fugitive).

I actually think this is the reason they’re waiting to replace Yaser Said because they are probably planning to not only replace Said... but remove Flores as well from the Top 10 list in order to add not 1 but 2 fugitives, especially since the list is reeling from a lack of captures from mid 2019-mid 2020.

Well, same director but new justice department so we'll see but my goodness am I really hoping a miracle in the works is the reason and not the latter.

It's just a little bit frustrating that Honduras seems more willing to send Flores back if he was a drug trafficker as opposed to an alleged child rapist and murderer.

I am wondering why on earth they want him in their country. The good people of Honduras don’t deserve to have him walking among them.

That's what I don't get either. It's like wouldnt you rather not have this guy be your problem? Or like some countries do, can't there be a compromise where you try him in Honduras and send him to a Honduran prison so he's not walking around in your "free" society?

You’d think they would honor an Interpol Red Notice. I would rather have them try him and him serve 20-40 years than him not serve any time at all.

I really cringe at the thought of him not getting life (or is this is one of those rare cases where I'm for the death penalty) but unfortunately the other alternative might be no justice at all. Plus we see how those who harm children are treated in U.S. prisons. Imagine how an alleged child rapist and murderer would be treated in a Honduran one?

You have to wonder if people in Honduras have gotten on the internet and know who he is and people just heckle him or his family for it. (If anything Alexis Flores deserves it)

I have heard Central American Prisons are some of the worst on earth. Michael Alfonso has said that he did everything to avoid going to prison when in Central America. I couldn’t imagine a child killer would be treated well there.
