It could or not be him. But then again any recent carjacking in the country in theory could be him or not be him. I saw the Facebook page for that article and there were no likes or comments on it so I am beginning to question the legitimacy of the site. (But I do believe Strickland could be in the Chicago area).

The good thing about chasing fugitives in the modern era is the young ones or relatively young ones don't know how to stay off of social media. I'm a huge fan of "The First 48" and I can't tell you how many crimes are solved because the moron posts a picture of himself holding the murder weapon on his Facebook page LOL. Good find!

I would be surprised to see this guy last 12 months on the Top Ten.

Thanks Scumhunter, I remember the same thing happened with Myloh Mason when you found his Facebook page. Also eal I don't think he'll last much longer on the run, come 2017 I think he'll be taken into custody.

Well I was hoping that history would repeat itself, as I thought since he was added around the same time as Myloh Mason, that he'd be caught in the same time as him, but man am I getting proved wrong. Mason lasted 28/29 days and today Strickland is at that Mark.
However the other aspect of this case, is the fact that Strickland was on the run 5 months prior to his addition to the list and he has a common look to him as well. It seems I may have underestimated Strickland.
We have speculated that someone in Chicago may be harboring him, the motive I think went either 1 of 2 ways. The first is that the arguing was too loud, that his daughter couldn't sleep, and all angry he decided to shoot the men as it could have been heard. The second is could he have committed suicide? Was he going through something like depression or an nervous/emotional breakdown and decided to killed 2 men that didn't do a thing to him, left his daughter behind, in a way that seems to me that Strickland was at the end of his rope and wanted to take an easy way out? We really don't know much about Strickland only that he may have been a single father, which was revealed to us only last month.

You didn't underestimate Strickland. He's only been on the list for a month. Most fugitives are caught quickly and we've been spoiled by a lot of 1 day, 2 day captures. If he's still wanted by the end of the year, I'd be in complete shock. He's still a new top 10 fugitive and still within the time frame of an average FBI capture.

Also I doubt he committed suicide. No reason to think so. All we know is the incident description is obviously not the entire story and that we may never know until he's captured. I guess his defense will have a good argument as there doesn't appear to be a motive at the moment. Only that he was named the trigger man by a bunch of witnesses in a chaotic scene.
But yeah I think the key with these FBI additions are patience. Most new additions are caught within a 1-2 year time frame. All of a sudden there's been a bunch of 1-2 day captures and we think it's going to happen all the time now.

Why don't we put him on the hunt with John Walsh and Crime Watch Daily, I think these shows will help the authorites and the viewers by taking him down

Strickland may just be that good at hiding or this case is just so average that it'll take a while. Also there is no doubt that we all agree he may be in Chicago likely. Even the FBI said somewhere that they have gotten some of the strongest tips on him out of there.

If he's still on the list by the end of the year then I'll declare him hide and seek champion. But for now I consider him a relatively new addition. Technically on the run since July. But no federal publicity until this past November/December.

I told you guys he wasn't going to be able to hide for long! Glad they captured him. Also glad he's covering his head in the video so I don't have to see his eyebrows again.
