Remarks: There were possible sightings of Lacy in Morehead and Frenchburg, Kentucky. Lacy does not work and is reportedly living off of a family trust fund. He also owns property in Okeechobee, Florida.

In December 2009, Lacy allegedly engaged in child pornography and traded images as of 2011. More than 40,000 sexually explicit images of child pornography were reportedly found on Lacy's computer. A federal arrest warrant was issued for Lacy in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky on July 9, 2015. Lacy was charged with distribution and possession of child pornography. Well since Ranger Lacy's only source of income is his family's trust fund, he's probably getting assistance from his family to stay on the run. He could have also shaved his beard in an attempt to disguise himself.

My honest opinion is he may be arrested quickly if he's going to places that are known to authorities, like Kentucky and Florida. Also since he doesn't work and is living off a trust fund then it'll be a matter of time before his money runs out.
He has to be somewhere in the southeastern United States IMO.

After giving it much thought Patel has dropped to #2 as my biggest contender because of Ranger Lacy. I don't condone Patel's act of murder, but Ranger Lacy is a sicko who engaged in child pornography and traded images + 40,000 images on his computer means he is as bad as it gets and he has risen to #1.
Reasons for why he should be added:
•Enjoys things that children are not yet able to understand.
•Likely fled to Florida, so and is an escape risk since he failed to appear.
•He's a quick capture since he's only living off a trust fund and adding him would get him arrested quickly or even surrender.

I would put Lacy in the Eric Toth category of even more serious than usual child pornography suspects so he definitely has a chance.

I agree, Patel committed Murder which is really bad as well... but then again I cannot condone his actions, he's such a jerk for fleeing like a coward, but Lacy can keep committing these crimes while on the lam as well. Reading over his poster, it states that there have been possible sightings in Morehead, Kentucky (where he lived) and also in Frenchburg, Ky. So he may still be Kentucky or he fled to Florida or somewhere in the Deep South. A bit off topic here but he reminds me of Matthew Dion.

It's my understanding that the biggest reason Sylvan-Lacy's being considered for the next pedophile on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted is the enormous size of his child porn collection, the second biggest is that even with no regular employment, it still needs one last gust of publicity to finish the manhunt off short, and the third is he's a particularly fast-acting child porn trafficker who commits his abuses in very short frequency. How else does he stand out from the other child porn fugitives?

He does seem to have a common look as well. There are many dark long haired bearded men that look like Ranger Lacy and the FBI has a history of adding those common look fugitives onto the list. Also if I try and jog my memory to when Lacy was added to the site in August, I don't think he was ever made Case of the Week as Tahja Williams (who was added in the week) was who became Case of the Week. Stanley Simms another guy wanted for a similar crime out of Florida (on the run since 2013) was made case of the week prior to Lacy being added to the site.

Lacy has been tweeted by the FBI Louisville and the FBI twitter pages as their #WantedWednesday. It's a good move on the FBI's behave to get this man's face out there because of the lack of attention he's gotten since he went on the run and as I've mentioned before he still hasn't been Case of the Week yet.

Has it gone through anyone's mind about the fact that Lacy could be deceased or altered his appearance significantly by shaving off all that hair he is seen sporting in the photo??

There is no reason to believe Lacy is deceased especially considering his young age and recent sightings.
Obviously you need to change your appearance to stay on the run.
