All right, crime fighter fans, in an official Turner Press Release, it was announced "The Hunt With John Walsh" will be returning for a third season.

While unfortunately, we still don't know when, I figured we might as well start a thread to discuss any news on the season and review the episodes once the season does start. We have some information on *possible* cases but unlike last season, when we were pretty much on point, this site is not nearly as confident this year, and these cases are based off either casting calls from last year that weren't in season 2, or us taking educated guesses. (In other words, a casting call describes a case and we determine the fugitive that case sounds like). It is possible this list makes everyone laugh at how bad we predicted the new season later on. So please don't yell us at off if we're off this year, but we're hoping we made good guesses
And oh yeah, SPOILER WARNINGS below....
Anyway let's start with some info:
Return Date: Unknown, 2016. (likely July but unknown for sure)
Possible Cases (Admin Note: Once again, should be stressed unless otherwise noted these are for the most part educated guesses based on casting call case descriptions, news articles etc. Some cases we may have guessed wrong and will not air on "The Hunt." Additionally, some cases may indeed be aired on The Hunt, however, have been filmed for Season 4 as opposed to Season 3 of the show)
Robert William Fisher- A member of the FBI's top 10 list. Fisher allegedly brutally murdered his family and then blew up their Scottsdale, Arizona home in an attempt to hide their bodies. Since his initial disappearance in 2001, there has been much speculation about whether or not Fisher committed suicide afterwards or is still alive and on the run.
William Greer- Recently added to the US Marshals Top 15 list. Greer was involved in one of the most infamous moments in John Walsh's former show's (America's Most Wanted) history when he was arrested for public intoxication while naked and rambling to police about how he just murdered his wife. Police soon learned he likely actually did, as Tammy Esquivel is still missing to this day. (Note: We thought this case would be aired on season 2 previously, but the addition to the Marshals' list probably does increase the odds it will air this season)
John and Julianne Dimitrion- A young Hawaiian and seemingly religious couple who conned those in their town into giving them millions in a home mortgage fraud. They plead guilty, but disappeared before trial, baffling investigators since they didn't have a passport and it's nearly impossible to get off the island of Hawaii without one. Investigators would soon learn they befriended a militant extremist group online who flew them to the U.S. They haven't been seen since. (Note: Case was supposed to air in season 1, but this is the one case where we have an actual source we can't reveal saying the case will definitely air this year)
Jorge Landeros- Landeros, a stockbroker, poet, and yoga instructor, is wanted for the murder of his girlfriend in Bethesda, Maryland. Despite Landeros being spotted in Mexico and even inviting Detectives to speak with him, for some reason he remains a fugitive to this day.
Eugene Palmer- Wanted out of Upstate New York for the 2012 murder of his stepdaughter, where he allegedly killed her after a domestic dispute. Like other possible case Robert Fisher, there is a lot of controversy as to whether Palmer is still alive. Palmer lived near a vast wooded area. Palmer is a diabetic who suffered a heart attack in 2011. Police are unsure if he had his medication with him. They also believe he left armed with a shotgun and rifle because the weapons were found missing from his home. Despite this, many describe Palmer as an avid outdoors man who could survive in the woods.
Jennifer Puente- Wanted out of Ennis, Texas and has been a fugitive since 2012. Jennifer Puente was only 18 years old when she was named as an alleged accomplice in the murder of a 15 year-old girl whose body had been found set on fire. Puente allegedly had plans to join a gang and a "hit list" of people she wanted to kill.
(All of the above now confirmed for season 3)
POSSIBLE SEASON 4 CASES:
Harold "Butch" Knight- Described as a grumpy but seemingly harmless "grandpa" type 66-year old man who allegedly shot and killed his wife and then fled to the wilderness of Maine alongside the Canadian border. A man believed to be Knight can be heard confessing to killing his wife, Sara Lee Knight, on 911 tapes. It is speculated Knight may have crossed the border into Canada or could still be hiding out in Maine.
Unknown Lois Colley Killer- Lois Colley was an 83-year old socialite living in North Salem, New York. She was beloved by everyone in her neighborhood. Because of that, residents were shocked when they learned she was bludgeoned to death in a home invasion.
Luis Rodriguez-Mena- Wanted out of Des Plaines, Illinois for the brutal murder and rape of a flight attendant.
Peter Chadwick- A wealthy British man who is wanted for the murder of his wife in Newport Beach, California.
Orlando Orea- Wanted out of New York for allegedly stabbing a beloved youth soccer coach to death. The victim came to America from the U.K. Authorities believe Orea mistook the victim for someone he had argued with in a bar earlier in the night.
Ty & Tisa Yiyara- School administrators wanted out of Los Angeles for alleged sexual assault.
Andre Neverson- Wanted for the murder of his girlfriend and his sister in Brooklyn, New York. Neverson is on the US Marshals' Top 15 list.
Pablo "El Padrino" Pinto Mata- A "santeria priest" wanted for the alleged murder of his ex-girlfriend and for the alleged rape of a 16-year old girl.
Maria Cabrera-Gutierrez/Daniel Markus- Maria is wanted for abducting her son, Daniel Markus, from St. Lawrence, Pennsylvania
Luis Macedo- Wanted out of a Chicago for a brutal 2009 alleged gang assault and murder of a 15-year old boy. Macedo was recently added to the FBI's Top 10 list.
That's it for now but we'll update if any more news comes along.
