Just an additional tidbit as Officials also believe Eubanks worked as a janitor at St. Francis Hospital in Lynwood in the late 1980s or early ’90s. It also seems they are *currently* searching for him in Los Angeles. So while it would be awesome if Eubanks becomes AMW 2.0's "John List" let's keep our fingers crossed that they can capture him sooner rather than later. Edit: Just realized Eubanks is being aired on tomorrow night's episode of AMW. For some reason I thought it was next week. Hopefully they mention the new photos. losangeles.cbslocal.com/2021/03/27/escaped-murderer-lester-eubanks-in-ohio-being-sought-in-los-angeles-area/

I tend to be of the strong belief that Lester Eubanks is still in the general Southern California area, just not in the areas he once was, especially now since he’s 77, the climate in California is very beautiful, it would be a lot better for him, however the smog is something that could catch up with him if he currently has health issues.

I'm really excited in that it seems the Marshals may finally be closing in on him somewhere in California. This is not an unsolvable case.

I'm really excited in that it seems the Marshals may finally be closing in on him somewhere in California. This is not an unsolvable case. With the recent focus on Eubanks since 2018, In Pursuit and AMW 2.0 in 2019 and 2020 respectively, I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up catching Eubanks thanks to the aggressive publicity done on this case.

Just sitting here waiting patiently for the day there is a breaking news story of the capture of Lester the Molester Eubanks.
It's crazy how in 2015 I posted for the first time on this thread and there were like 2 or 3 comments at the time with no real information or coverage. Since that time, the old original AMW episode from 1994 was discovered, the FBI re-added him to the Most Wanted List, the new Unsolved Mysteries and In Pursuit featured the case, and even my local news stations all broadcasted a segment about it.
After watching the UM episode last year, I am confident that they are going to finally catch him. If you saw it, you would realize that they were only a month or two behind when they tracked him to a juvenile detention center in Alabama. To this day, he uses a hunting license as his form ID. I would imagine he is not able to apply for Social Security or any other government assistance with only that as his proof of ID. If he could get that assistance, then he could isolate himself and hide out basically until the day he dies. Also, I don't think he would be able to leave the country with just that proof of ID either. Therefore, I believe he is still in the country and has no choice but to work to take care of himself. An employer somewhere has regular contact with him, but probably hasn't watched any of these different investigation shows or just doesn't watch TV at all. That is probably why we still haven't heard anything as of yet. But, I'm still holding out hope that the day will come and his time on the run will run out.
In 2013, I was overwhelmed with emotion the day I was walking past a TV on my college campus when a breaking news story flashed on the screen to announce that the three kidnapped girls in Cleveland had been found alive. For 10 years, nobody knew what happened to them and in those 10 years, Clevelanders like myself watched countless local news segments keeping the search for them alive. We all concluded that they were long gone and buried somewhere where they would never be found. But, when I saw that breaking news story on the news, I can honestly say that I shouted off the top of my lungs I was so elated. That is the feeling I hope to have one day for the remaining members of the Deener family still waiting for that call. Let's get it done detectives!

Also the new AMW profiled Eubanks as well!

You'd think with all the publicity this case has gotten in recent years that Eubanks would have been found but it's been almost 50 years he might be dead by now, but dead or alive I hope they find wherever Eubanks is even if he's dead Mary Ellen's family deserves to know

Just saw the re-enactment AMW did for the first time on this case excellent re-enactment especially when the lawyer tells Lester saying he helped her by using a brick to smash her skull even though it was a re-enactment it felt real especially the court scene. Also does anyone know if the actor who played Lester Eubanks was the same one who played fugitive Larry George in the AMW or Unsolved Mysteries re-enactment of George’s case when he was a wanted fugitive?
