(Above photo credit: amw.com archives) Fugitive Profile as of September 21st, 2015: (based on 2003 AMW archives, please contact site if you have more recent information) DOB: July 20th, 1958 Sex: Male Race: White Height: 5' 7” Weight: 170 lbs Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Black Moles: On left cheek neaar mouth, may have been removed. Other Notes: Family has property and business interests in FL. Son of a multi-millionaire land developer in the Chicago area. May smoke pot or use amphetamines. Mother: Hispanic. Father: Italian. Since his flight, has been placed in California, Florida and Texas. Has family in Illinois, Massachusetts and Colorado. Known to have facial hair. Mom lives in Denver, CO. Who to call if you've seen him: Based on wanted location, our advice would be to call Mt. Prospect (Illinois) Crime Stoppers at (224) 659-9030Anthony P. Dimucci Jr. was AMW's original 50/50 fugitive for the state of Illinois. He was aired on their November 18th, 2000 "50 States, 50 Fugitives" special. Below is the (slightly edited) archived description of the case: On May 18, 1978 Mount Prospect, Illinois Police responded to a call to come to the residence of Salvatore Dimucci, Sr. (a well-known Chicago area developer). When they arrived, police found Dimucci, Sr. downstairs with his grandson Anthony P. Dimucci, Jr. (19 yrs. old) who was crying. Throughout the house officers observed blood spatters. S. Dimucci told police that there had been an accidental shooting and that the body was in the garage. MPP entered the garage and found the blood-soaked body of Steven Coskey. He was rolled up inside of a carpet. The medical examiner determined that Coskey had been shot 10 times with a revolver and hit on the head with a metal object. Police say that because it was a revolver, the murderer would have had to reload the weapon to fire it ten times. It could not have been an accidental shooting. Police found the murder weapon (revolver) in a paper bag hidden in the vegetable garden. MPP surmise that Coskey was killed over an argument about drugs. Police found marijuana and amphetamines in the Dimucci residence. A. Dimucci and Coskey were high school classmates and co-workers at a Dimucci family-owned company. Police arrested A. Dimucci for Coskey's murder the evening of the shooting. He posted bail in October of 1978 and fled before his pretrial hearing. In 1980 San Diego Police arrested A. Dimucci for shoplifting as John Kaladiez. He was released on this misdemeanor charge before his prints were processed. San Diego Police found out his true identity, but could not recover him. Dimucci has been on the run since he was 19 years old. He is now 57 years old. He may look very different. While he was younger, he was known to dye his hair and to change his facial hair often. He also may have new tattoos and scars that we don't know about. Thoughts? I am assuming Dimucci is still at large since I haven't seen proof otherwise. The problem is two advantages you need to stay on the run- 1. Money and 2. Connections and friends/family who will help you hide. DiMucci comes from a family that has both, and all over as well. Despite that, he was arrested in California once. Unfortunately, there's been no progress since. web.archive.org/web/20030714104412/http://www2.amw.com/site/thisweek/20001118/dimuccianthony_il20001118.html Admin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

I would be interested to find out if Anthony Dimucci Jr. was aired before 2000. Not complaining that he was aired on the 50/50 special, but for a majorly populated state like Illinois, it's interesting that they chose a fugitive who at the time was on the run for 22 years.
Since he's been spotted all across the United States over the years, he could really be anywhere by now. He shouldn't be that difficult to find though in my opinion, unless he went through a major appearance change immediately after going on the run.

An age-enhanced photo would certainly help. He looks like a kid in that mugshot. He's certainly gained weight and probably lost hair since then.

Someone sent a link (and thanks to them for the info) that a man killed in a car accident in Barrington Hills, Illinois, Salvatore Dimmuci Jr., may be related to Anthony Dimucci. (This makes sense considering their father is Salvatore Sr.) www.dailyherald.com/article/20160517/news/160518898/

There are a few things the police got wrong. It was about a van that Anthony (aka Tony) wrote out a bad check to pay from his mother's bank account. Steven went to either get the van back or the money. How do I know this? He was my uncle that died before I met him. His family would like some justice before they pass on. Any information about this case would be greatly appreciated.

Very sorry for your family's loss, even though it was nearly 40 years ago, the pain that results from a murder never goes away. I appreciate the information on the motive. I too would really like a resolution soon and for Anthony to face a court of law for your uncle's murder. If there's anything else we can do to help get justice for your family and it's within our ability, we will try to do our part.

Hi Steven, thanks for posting here. I also echo HeadMarshal's sentiments and hope there will be a resolution one day. Even though I just copied and pasted what AMW wrote, I'm still sorry for any inaccuracies. I always hear about families waiting 5, 10 long years for justice, so I can't imagine what nearly 40 years is like. Mr. Dimucci is young enough that he's likely still alive and out there somewhere. Perhaps as pakman suggested someone could talk to the police about putting out an age-enhanced photo of Dimucci Jr. There's also a guy named Randall Sands who has done very good age-enhanced computerized sketches for some of the fugitives on this site after friends/family contacted him to make a request (he's a retired disabled veteran and I think does them for free although I'm not 100 percent sure): www.facebook.com/RandallTucsonArtist

I've received an unconfirmed report that Anthony Dimucci Jr may have been found dead in Sarasota, Florida as a man who passed away from cancer while living under an alias.
As is site policy, we cannot claim anything until there's news reports confirming this, but hopefully this source's information is accurate. I hope for Steven and everyone else's sake that it is but we'll wait and see.

Two months later and still no word. So just to be on the safe side, I would still advise anyone with tips on Dimucci's whereabouts to not assume anything and continue to call them in to the crime stoppers line I feel is the most appropriate based on wanted location. I mean no disrespect to the person who sent the info but we cannot move a case to the captures section without definitive proof like a news article from a legitimate online website. I hope their info will turn out to be accurate, but I guess we'll have to continue to wait and see.

Dimucci still not dead yet or at least not dead publicly.
I'll give the forum reader benefit of the doubt that they were mistaken but once again we wait and see but Dimucci qs far as I can was still at large as of this update (1/26/2018).

He was seen in a bar and found out that he is or was at the time a drug dealer. He was in Florida. It has been a year. Let us get this scum bag off the street.

Hey Steven,
Thanks for the update. Was this recently that he was seen in a bar or in the past he was living in Florida as a drug dealer?

Any updates on this case? Additionally, I know when he was on the FBI’s website, there were age-enhanced photos of him. Anyone know if they can be found anywhere else (the FBI archived site photos won’t load).

Nothing yet. No pressure of course as he obviously doesn't have to but hopefully one day Steven comes back and gives us an update.
The fact that it's been 5 years after that death rumor sent to me is why I'm always cautious and never get overly excited at potential news. Sometimes people mean well and they honestly believe their updates, but things of course need to be verified.
