If we can locate the UFAP file on PACER, that should give us answers.

I decided to stop being cheap (it only cost 10 cents per page and is free if you keep it under 30 dollars for a quarer) and constantly calling out HeadMarshal lol found the Pacer case against Dimucci was dismissed without prejudice in 2004 "warrant returned unexecuted" on 3/15/2004. So it looks like he doesn't have a federal warrant technically but they can still bring the case back if he's ever caught and/or reissue one if I read that correctly.

I’m wondering why they dismissed the UFAP charge. Only reason I could see it being done is because they had evidence he was indeed deceased. Shooting someone ten times and then confessing is pretty damning as far as evidence goes.

This includes fugitives that we know for sure are still wanted on a local level. An example of this is Jose Rafael Marcelleno in Odessa, Texas. The only thing that makes sense is that these warrants are being dismissed because of the age of the case and the lack of leads. I suspect they might be closed due to "administrative purposes" based out of the district court where the case is based out of.

I lived 2 doors down from the house when this happened. I was a kid and played with the kids from the family that purchased the house after the murder. There were a couple bullet holes in the front window that weren't fixed for years and a patch of paint on the floor of the garage near the door into the house that all us kids said was covering up blood.
When I was in grade school 'Officer Friendly' came to our school and I asked him about the case; he told me they thought Anthony was hiding in Brazil.
Anthony's uncle lived on the same block but behind the house facing the next street over - his house was large and took up like 3 of 4 lots. He had a son around my age that used to hang around the neighborhood. The rumor in the neighborhood was that the uncle was well connected and moved Anthony out of the country.
When I was in high school I went back to the neighborhood (we left when I was in grade school) and talked to an old neighbor who was the same age as Anthony and lived right next door to the house. His story was that Anthony stiffed Steve on a quarter lb of weed and Steve came to the house to collect the money with a bat, he also mentioned that Anthony was known to use angel dust and other harder drugs and may have been under the influence during the murder. I don't mean to be disrespectful to the family member who has a different story, which very well may be correct, but I just want to post what I've heard over the years being from that block and always being curious about the murder.

Hi bigj,
Welcome to the forum and thanks so much for sharing your interesting perspective. It is quite shocking in the first place and then later it's on AMW.
One thing can all agree on is justice if possible needs to be done for Steve.
