IMO, he died the same day his wife did, only his body never came back to shore. I know the FBI still gets tips on him but they did that in other cases like Donald Eugene Webb as well. If nothing else, this doesn't seem like a guy who could stay on the run for this long on his own. His family would be helping him and I think the feds would have tracked him down if that were the case long ago.

Based on this article it seems the FBI is pulling all the stops to get Adam Emery. If anything I wouldn’t be surprised if they get enthusiastic to add Emery to their Top Ten list, which is deserving and a case that’s been long worked on by the agency. I think Adam Emery is still alive, and is hiding out somewhere in New England (he didn’t travel to far from the scene of the crime), he could still be hiding out in Rhode Island, but then again you have Boston to the north and New York City to the south. If he traveled to Maine I don’t think anyone will notice him there as it’s basically a no mans country if your not in the big towns like Augusta, Portland or Bangor.

One thing they need to do is get better quality photos of him. The ones on his poster are very grainy.

Despite his being temporarily being taken off the FBI website at one point in time, I searched PACER and there has always been a UFAP (unlawful flight to avoid prosecution) warrant and it has never been dismissed even temporarily as of this update (10/3/2021).
