That's if episode 2.9 is that episode as planned. According to mother of an actor in the Timmothy Pitzen, it was supposed to be the sixth episode (2.6) but we see it's been pushed back to at least the 9th episode now. I guess we'll wait and see if there is ever an episode description.

To srose,
You, Kate, and Vesla all did great jobs on the show tonight. The court system is one thing, but it's especially sad when the parents, the people who should believe them the most, fail their children as well. Saraswati should have NEVER been allowed free after conviction. As John Walsh said, he had the money, he was from another country. Of course he was going to flee. I'm also glad Kripalu was exposed as well. I still hope for the justice you all deserve and should have already had.
I hope the show can pinpoint Saraswati's exact location in India, and that the country can do the right thing- arrest him, and send him back here.

That was a really good episode but did anyone else notice that we didn't get a preview for next week?

Weird but I wouldn't look too much into that. All the guides say there will be an episode next week.

True. What I was more surprised by was them not mentioning Megan Everett's capture at the beginning though.

They just showed a preview for Margaret Smith on CNN. Interestingly enough, they show who I'm assuming is Dylan Loughery (Smith's hired hitman) giving a jailhouse interview. We've seen this on AMW on some rare occasions but this is the first time I believe that The Hunt has ever interviewed an accomplice of a fugitive in prison, or any inmate for that matter.

The Zap2it episode guide is now a little jumbled. The August 23rd episode on who I'm assuming is Matthew Dion is still scheduled but it now says episode 10 while there's also an "episode 8" titled "Fighting for Life" scheduled for August 23rd. Also, the episode titled "The Disappearing" is now described as this: "A mother commits suicide, but there is no sign of her son; four members of an ex-girlfriend's family are murdered allegedly by her ex-boyfriend. Four members of an ex-girlfriend's family are murdered allegedly by her ex-boyfriend." The episode numbers are jumbled, but I have confirmed August 30th at least will be the episode on Timmothy Pitzen, and the case description obviously confirms it as well. It seems the second case is the already captured Alexander Hill Jr. (it surprises me, apparently he wouldn't have been an hour case- meaning he probably wouldn't have been the debut case even if he wasn't captured after all). tvschedule.zap2it.com/tvlistings/ZCProgram.do?sId=EP01942023&t=The+Hunt+With+John+Walsh&method=getEpisodesForShow&desc=onSo the episode numbers apparently got mixed around, probably due to captures or production decisions or whatever, but we do know the 16th will be Margaret Smith (and possibly the already dead Paul Winklebleck), and the 30th will be Timmothy Pitzen (and possibly the already captured Alex Hill Jr.)

P.S. I still don't see any articles about Paul Winklebleck, so I'm wondering if since he's dead they cut out his segment and expanded the Margaret Smith case to an entire hour. I guess we'll find out on Sunday.

tvguide.com has an episode titled "Fighting for Life" without a description for August 23rd as well. Perhaps The Hunt had time to replace a case after all or they just pushed the Dion episode back (having a one-hour already captured case would be the way to go against the debut of Sunday night football lol). While there could be more than one case, fighting for life, who knows with that description what it could be. Seems to indicate an attempted murder case, with the victim fighting for life, obviously. But we won't know until there's a description or when CNN uploads the case on their website.

I enjoy this week episode of the hunt, They did a good job on Margaret Smith Case, I think both AMW's and Tonight Segments are the best, Paul Winkinbleck segment is much better than AMW'S Segment, I hope those remains are Paul Winkinbleck

Ok episode review time. Once again spoilers below....
Margaret Smith case was very good. While I thought the Lifetime re-enactment was a decent one, this was obviously even better, went into more detail, and it was interesting to see The Hunt do their first prison interview. Dylan Loughery maintains his innocence and says he believes Margaret killed George Smith herself. He says the fact the murder was so sloppy proves a hitman couldn't have done it.
The problem with that is police say one of the phone numbers that was in contact with Margaret Smith the night of the murder belonged to Dylan's girlfriend's cell phone. In addition, investigators say other informants say Dylan was the culprit.
In fairness to Dylan's argument, he is right that it did look sloppy. However, the only explanation for him being on Margaret's phone records is if she wanted to frame him for murder- and she never mentioned him to investigators. You'd think she would if she wanted to.
I do believe Dylan would have never killed anyone if it wasn't for Margaret Smith and she was the brains and manipulated him. However, since he was convicted and proven guilty, he needs to live with the consequences.
It was ridiculous Margaret had a lower bail than Dylan though.
Also, Winklebleck segment was good and was that real time footage on the cell phone? If so that's frightening. Also, even though the Smith case took up about 35-40 minutes, and this case was truncated, it still managed to expand from AMW (which is John Walsh's argument for only 1-2 cases an episode) and show his child molester past.
While it is disappointing they couldn't have replaced Winklebleck with another fugitive since he was likely found deceased, at least this case was hopefully a good learning experience for any young girls or parents of young girls if they happened to be watching the show- to not believe any guy who claims to be an undercover cop or parking lot security or whatever outside a concert.
Also, this deviated from the AMW story a bit. In that re-enactment both girls were fighting Winklebleck. In this one, only one did while the other one ran. I do think they said they were both fighting him in their AMW interviews. So maybe The Hunt just glossed over that they were both fighting initially.
But yeah a pretty good episode of The Hunt and hopefully it can finally capture the AMW Lifetime debut fugitive.

Also, the episode preview for next week was shown in between a commercial break. So we now know Bruce Sawhill be on the episode- although we don't know if anyone else will be. Meaning either the Matthew Dion episode was pushed back- or they found a way to replace him after all. (Either with a new case or expanding an already filmed case to an hour)
