Ok Crime fighter fans! Although this site doesn't know exactly WHEN The Hunt is returning, we do they know WILL return and are already in production on new episodes based on news articles and site research. So like season 1, I decided to start a thread to discuss what we find out, spoilers, fugitives to be profiled, etc. about season 2 as it comes along. We now have enough information from my research and news articles that I feel comfortable finally starting this thread. I want to remind everyone to please use the upcoming in season 1 thread to discuss cases from season 1.
Here's the little I know right now from web research:
Return Date: Sunday, July 12th, 2015 9 PM ET/8 PM CT on CNN
A few probable Cases:
Yaser Said (Texas)- A fugitive who needs no introduction to those who were fans of America's Most Wanted. Wanted for the murder of his two teenage daughters. Although never officially charged, is suspected of possibly molesting them as well. The newest member of the FBI's Top 10 list.
Megan Everett (Florida)- In perhaps one of the most bizarre kidnapping cases that will ever be shown on AMW or The Hunt, Everett allegedly kidnapped her 2-year old child because she didn't want her to get vaccinations and/or learn about black history month in school.
Timothy Pitzen (Illinois/Wisconsin) (Missing Child Case)- A now 10-year old boy who lived with his parents in Illinois but was last seen in Wisconsin. His mother Amy claimed to have given him away before committing suicide.
William Greer (Texas)- Wanted out of Harris County Texas for the murder of his wife Tammy Esquivel, who he admitted to killing to police while drunk. Esquivel's body has never been recovered.
Prakashanand Sarasawati (Texas)- In 2011, cult leader Prakashanand "Swami" Saraswati was convicted of sexually moesting two teenage girls in the 1990's. Inexplicably, he was let out on bail AFTER conviction, and fled.
Tomas Gonzalez (California)- Began sexually molesting a girl who was only 8-years old, eventually wound up in a relationship with her when she became an adult, and one day murdered her.
Paul Jackson (Oregon)- Along with his brother Vance Roberts (now captured), Jackson kidnapped and tortured prostitutes inside his house.
Daniel Hiers Jr. (South Carolina)- Hiers was a married cop with an alleged secret life- and allegedly molested the child of a woman he was seeing. Before going on the run rather than face the charges, he allegedly shot his his wife to death.
