Fugitive Profile as of October 3rd, 2014 (based on Massachusetts State Police Most Wanted List): DOB:………………………2/5/1988 Height:…………………….6’- 2” Weight:……………………270 lbs. Hair:………………………Brown Eyes:………………………Brown Complexion:………………Light Race:………………..White Tattoos:…………Tribal Tattoo Left Shoulder AKAs………………………Justin Blackwelder Who to call if you've seen him: Massachusetts State Police: Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section 1-800-KAPTURE (1-800-527-8873)From CNN: A Massachusetts child rape suspect fled after cutting off his GPS monitoring bracelet, then -- days later -- returned home, beat and tied up a relative, and sped off again with a gun, police say. Gregory Lewis remained at large Friday night, according to Southbridge police, who warned that he "is still considered armed and dangerous." The 26-year-old was arrested on August 5, then arraigned the next day on four felony child rape charges, according to police. He was let go on bail and required to wear a GPS monitoring bracelet. Except that, according to a post Saturday on the Southbridge police department's Facebook page, Lewis severed that bracelet and drove off in his parents' 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Police announced on September 20 that the Southbridge resident had fled and was wanted "for several outstanding felony arrest warrants." The next reported sighting of Lewis in his hometown -- a community of about 17,000 people located 20 miles southwest of Worcester -- was Thursday. That's when Southbridge police said Lewis returned to his home "and seriously assaulted" a family member, who was also "tied up and handcuffed to prevent police from being called," Detective Sgt. Carlos Dingui said. "This gentleman was literally shackled and held in the home, with a metal shackle," Southbridge police Chief Daniel Charette told CNN affiliate WCVB about the unnamed relative. Later that night, surveillance images released by police showed Lewis in a convenience store about 30 miles southwest in Vernon, Connecticut. It's not known where he went next, including whether he was still in New England as of Friday night. The fugitive wasn't traveling empty-handed. Authorities say that he "armed himself with a handgun" upon leaving his home. "Lewis is considered to be extremely dangerous," Southbridge police said. www.cnn.com/2014/09/26/us/massachusetts-child-rape-suspect/index.htmlwww.masslive.com/news/worcester/index.ssf/2014/09/southbridge_child_rape_suspect_gregory_lewis_returns_home_allegedly_assaults_family_member.html

Off-topic but why is it whenever I think the overcrowding has died down that I can finally add a planned exclusive fugitive that another breaking news case pops up later on the EXACT same day? Such is the sad reminder of crime that is always ongoing. Of course, that's the least important issue here and what's most important is finding Lewis. Things must be pretty serious is even CNN is covering the case.

P.S. Yet another case of a useless ankle monitor. Might as well just attach a band-aid to their bodies since it seems like the same exact result would happen...

P.S. Can someone please explain to me again why a guy who was an alleged child rapist was out with only an ankle monitor? I mean a valid reason other than a judge's stupidity? Thanks.

Only thing I can think of was that it was a typically-lenient type of judge. Good to see that the local media in Denver is getting on top of this manhunt, even if he doesn't turn to be there.

As mentioned in the article, Lewis knows that his days as a free man are numbered so he will commit as many sex crimes as possible. It's been said numerous times on this forum, but there needs to be a bigger national media campaign on these fugitive cases, especially when The Hunt is off the air till it's next season. Lewis is probably by now in a new area, and everyone in each of the 50 states as far as I'm concerned needs to know about this guy.

At this rate if AMW were to come back to do another "50 States, 50 Fugitives" show he'd eventually be the fugitive for all 50 states. As far as national media campaigns, this site tries to help. I love The Hunt don't get me wrong. But the problem is there's more than 12 fugitive cases in 8 episodes that aren't even being currently rerun that need the attention. This is why even though it would likely be with a new host, I still hold out hope AMW can return one day as well. Why not Saturday nights again with The Hunt on Sundays and it can be a fugitive-watching weekend.
