Also it seems this new version of AMW- will be more Live PD-esque in format- as they plan to film only 2-3 days before each episode with a rundown on cases from the previous week. Or at least that's my guess is it will be more live/interactive based as opposed to re-enactment oriented.

Great News, It's good to see America's Most Wanted back on the air, I wished John Walsh Returns to host the reboot and New Show he working on in Investgation Discovery, I liked the new host Elizabeth Vargas.

I just broke the news to my dad, asking him about which streaming service or TV provider we might happen to have a subscription to that I don't know about. I'm determined to catch these new episodes in the wake of their original FOX Network broadcasts, and hoping they'll be, at the very least, better than most of AMW's broadcasts from the second half of '010.

The article mentions all the ways the show will be available if you can't watch live but if you can watch live you can always use a digital antenna. If you have a roku or fire stick etc... There's an app called locast where you can watch local stations for free as well.

Also Tubi is a free app I think that I think Fox has a stake in so they might show AMW for free on there but don't quote me yet lol.

Also no idea if they will bring back the "capture counter" or do it like the old AMW- it was one of my favorite features of the old AMW but not sure if it will be a thing of the past.

So happy that FOX is actually going through with this revival of AMW! I also appreciate that FOX is allowing someone with partial ethnic heritage to host the show, which is significant in the time of BLM.
I want the show to have as much of an impact out of the gate capture-wise as possible. I know that they will want to profile long-time, well known fugitives at some point, but we need relatively recent fugitives to be aired as well. I'm sure that there are dozens (at least) of good candidates on this forum who need to be aired.

When does anyone think that the Original or New 2.0 version of AMW.com is going to be up and running on the net?

No idea so far amw.com is not back online. I know we're all excited but March isn't that far away so I'd rather just sit back and see how things develop rather than worry about when this or that is going to happen or what the show will look like. There will be articles leading up to the debut and we'll also get to see what we think of the new AMW once it premieres.

I do have a question I’ve been asking myself.... how will In Pursuit do, now that AMW is back, I mean JW himself gave the new host of AMW his blessing, but as far as the formatting case wise, is AMW going to focus on more recent cases, while In Pursuit focuses on cases from 1975-2010? Or could both shows work in collaboration to bring publicity to certain fugitives if needed?

The problem In Pursuit has is they don't have the advantage of what the new AMW appears to be- although it will hopefully be better produced- the new format will apparently be similar to "Live P.D.: Wanted" where Elizabeth Vargas will be in a studio and will present the cases as news stories and video interviews with law enforcement officials etc.. it's a relatively easy show to produce even with Covid.
In Pursuit on the other hand is re-enactment focused and personal sit-down interview/on-field investigation focused so they have to basically wait out the pandemic before they can get to work again. I have it from a source they are in pre-pre-pre production but they have more challenges to face.
In the past, In Pursuit actually told me when sending them case requests that more recent cases have a better chance of making the show than cold cases because the more recent the better chance at capture, but now that AMW is back to do current cases perhaps they won't feel as much pressure to focus on recency as much as they used to have to.

Also for what it's worth the most recent posting on America's Most Wanted's Facebook account was promoting season 2 of In Pursuit so perhaps it is possible the shows will work together whenever In Pursuit comes back on the air.

AMW was promoted on Fox's NFL Championship game today.
There is a new logo (the E in America's is shaped like the US flag).
