Hey all,
Just to not get anyone's hopes up, I have not received any news about In Pursuit starting up for Season 3 anytime soon.
The good news is according to my sources they have been renewed for Season 3 whenever it happens- it's just a matter of whenever they're ready to start- so I figured I'd finally make a thread to reflect any news we find out about the upcoming season anyway- when it may air- articles mentioning possible cases (we do not spoil cases unless they're spoiled in public anyway); etc...
So since we're getting close to 2021 I figure now would be a good time to make our usual upcoming thread in preparation for whenever Season 3 gets going.
Please do not speculate in any way about what you feel may happen- when it may air, who they might profile etc.. as this thread is for concrete news we find out only... And then of course discussing the season whenever it finally happens.

Was anyone able to watch IDCon and learn what Cal said about In Pursuit? Unfortunately I was unable to be there today at 4 PM to watch.

Nevermind found the youtube link! No news of an air date but John Walsh comes on around the 2:04 mark to announce In Pursuit will return later this year and then he introduced Cal where they show a preview of his missing special. Cal then talks and shows a few more cases that will be highlighted aside from the two main segment cases (Lauren Dumolo and Sophie Reeder). m.youtube.com/watch?v=FDiwUIBSEp4 |

As mentioned in another thread (in the wrong section of the forum- please discuss general show discussion in the general show discussion section), we all know Season 3 was renewed but an article mentions it may be on Discovery plus and not the regular ID channel. I guess we'll find out. That could just mean it will debut on Discovery plus first and then ID, but we shall see. They also mention something about not wanting to reveal cases so AMW doesn't copy them, perhaps that is a good sign that show is coming back, as we'll stay out of any potential rivalry and instead just hope both shows get justice lol. pagesix.com/2021/06/22/crime-stopper-john-walsh-vows-to-clean-up-nyc/ |

Is that situation possible? I'm not sure I understand your question but in theory a fugitive getting profiled multiple times no matter the show increases their odds of capture. I don't think they can "team up" since they're on competing networks. Finally I removed the (hopefully!) in the thread title since obviously the show is returning for Season 3. |

CTV.ca is advertising the season three premiere date for In Pursuit on August 18th. This means we have less than a month to go before seeing John and Callahan hunt down fugitives on tv again.  www.ctv.ca/shows/in-pursuit-with-john-walsh |

Let's hope it's August 18th but I'm remaining a bit careful since they're the only ones saying it right now. I hope it is though but whenever it is ill be hyped!
