I realize now I have the ability to create photos on the main page! Because of this I was thinking we should bring back case of the week after all, as a fugitive being plastered on the front page of the site might help with face recognition.
I also think anyone can use more attention no matter how many views they've received so I'm getting rid of that rule (The FBI and US Marshals Top 15 are at the very top of the site anyway so the only exception is none of them are eligible unless they're on an episode of The Hunt for that week (I plan to correlate with the show if this works out).
So this week's category is TV Fugitives from 2010-Present and any case is eligible (This is a new idea so we're starting fresh, so I'm not counting past cases we've done as excluded). If no one picks a case, I will pick one at random.

Luis Rodriguez has been randomly selected as fugitive of the week for this week! Seeing the lack of participation, I'm going to just randomly select a different fugitive of the week each week (I want to keep it as only fugitive cases for now since we're the only sleuthing site that's fugitive themed and it will help to get added publicity but there could always be exceptions especially if I get requests- it's not that I don't care about other cases but with AMW off the air and The Hunt only doing 8 episodes a year more fugitive attention is really needed).
Fugitive of the week cases will be added every Sunday though so if you ever have a request just private message me.

For now I think randomly choosing a case is the best idea to get the most variety of fugitives featured. Luis Rodriguez out of North Carolina is a great first choice. |

I already have Eric Ferrer for this week as a promise in another thread, I'd like to keep it as fugitives for the time being. I'm assuming you're referring to Kayla Gomez and while I do care about her case, it has received a ton of publicity already.
I'm just going to randomly pick a fugitive a week but anyone can private message me before a Sunday to request a case.

Just wanted to say this week's case wasn't randomized and I purposely chose Lester Eubanks since we seem to be getting a lot of great info and discussion on his thread. Hopefully with the added publicity in being on our front page it leads to more interesting discoveries.

Switching things up and doing a missing child case for COTW this week partially on request.
Robert Bee Jr. Went missing on November 18th, 2016. A truant officer came to Robert's house to tell him he had to go to school, he ran away, and hasn't been seen since.
This case really baffles me since it seemed like a simple runaway case at first but as time goes by it looks more and more concerning.
I feel this is one missing child case that is solvable and if AMW was still on the air they could have located Robert which is why I also chose to get more attention for Robert and his loved ones this week.
Please view his thread if you haven't yet. I feel we can solve this one.

Mentioned this elsewhere but because I recently changed the format of the sections to where the fugitives are in recent chronological order by decade so the more solvable cases (the later in the decade, the more theoretically solvable they are) are closer to the front, I am temporarily discontinuing the fugitive of the week feature, since I don't want to screw around too much with the order and messing the sections around. Exceptions can be made and I may bring it back from the time under special circumstances. (Family member requests, hot new leads on a case mentioned in media, breaking news cases deserving of the attention etc...)
Threads naturally eventually get bumped up and missorted anyway by nature, but for the time being while there's somewhat of an order.

Just want to mention that although I discontinued asking for fugitives of the week and pretty much have a new system to select cases now, forum members are free to every once in a while request a case to be made fugitive or case of the week (like dont do it often since I do have a system I don't like to tinker with too much, like ask every two months or so), provided we havent done the case already and/or there's no victim request case, ill do my best to accommodate that request.
This weekend is already alloted to Albion Frett since although 912thamwuser didn't request it, I thought it would be a good idea since he bought up that is the unfortunate 20-year anniversary of Richard Baptiste's murder.
