I explained to HeadMarshal in the suggestions for forum section, but because some AMW/Hunt/Unsolved Mysteries etc. get more attention than others, sometimes a few cases fall by the wayside. So I thought I'd establish a "case of the week" to help get more views for a case that doesn't have as many as others on this forum depending on if we like this idea or not. Each week, the case will be stickied to the top of their respective section. I plan on randomizing cases, but will also listen to requests. So there's no argument, I will go on a first-ask, first-serve basis. Meaning I will take the first person's request, but if anyone wants to add a case for the future, I will make that the case the next time the category comes up. This week's category is AMW/Hunt recent fugitives (2003-2014) and it has to be a case from pages 5-8. First case request I will make the week's case starting Sunday, September 14th. Otherwise, I will select a case at random. So speak before then or forever hold your peace. P.S. USMS 15 and FBI top 10 I will skip since they get enough attention. This is all of course if members like this idea. So never mind if you reply in the suggestions for forum or this thread that you don't.

Octaviano Juarez-Corro, page #6. Next one I'll let someone else suggest. I also really like this idea.

Cool to give it a head start I'll sticky his case now- but the next case will be stickied on September 21st.

Because of a promise I made to feature him, Ricardo Villanueva-Cordova is this forum's case of the week. Open requests will be back next week.

Next week's case of the week will be AMW Cold Case fugitives (obviously I'm going down in order except in special circumstances but I'd like to ask we still please wait until I announce it ) The fugitive has to be from pages 6-9. Taking requests but one will be randomly selected if no one suggests a case. Also, to the family and friends of Michael S. Sanchez, if you read this, I will make sure Ricardo Villanueva-Cordova still gets the attention he deserves even when it's time for a new fugitive.

As I mentioned before, I want other members to be able to suggest cases as well. However if no one suggests anything by tomorrow night, then I'll pick a case from that section of the forum.

No problem. Although there is no requirement to pick a case. If anyone doesn't request one, then the names just get put into random.org and one is randomly selected.

I understand but there still some cases I really want given additional recognition on this forum.
So I'll be recommending Jose Angel Solorio in Page #9. I just hope he hasn't killed anyone else while on the run.

Next week's case of the week will be exclusive cold cases. We only have two pages of these cases, so obviously ANY of the fugitives can use the front page mention. So any fugitive can be nominated. P.S.- this is really to bring attention to cases with lesser view counts during "Hunt" off-seasons. I'm not sure how case of the week will work once The Hunt returns. Obviously those cases won't need the added attention with the world wide exposure- but because of the added exposure there will be increased odds of capture which is why Hunt cases may be cases of the week after all once it returns. Or at the very least there will be links to the fugitive or fugitives that week under their respective sections and a "forum case of the week" will be a different category than that week's show. (For example, just an example, let's say it's time for an AMW recent case that week and The Hunt is doing a one-hour show on Yaser Said. We'll either make Said case of the week and/or provide a link to his case under the recent section and select a different category instead for forum case of the week.) Hope that wasn't too confusing.

This time I'll refrain from nominating so someone else can (it would also be fun to see what case Scumhunter picked at random if it ended up happening).

Next week's category will be Unsolved Cases on TV! Only rule is it has to be a case from the lesser viewed pages, in this case, pages 4-6. P.S. Once again, it's rather obvious I'm going down in order of what sections appear on the site. But some times there may be exceptions, for example, if an article comes out about a case, or a family member requests a case that's not in the aligned order. So please wait until I announce the category to make your selection anyway.

This week's case of the week is the Unknown Sundrop Killer. Selected randomly but considering the new article a pretty good random pick if you ask me.

This week's category is- you guessed it- exclusive unsolved cases! Only one page so I'll set a view count limit to see who needs the attention. So any of the threads with under 500 views is eligible.
