Amazing the see such a case with a web of mess. All because of one sick man. I do hope that the whereabouts of Suzanne's brother and son are discovered one day.

Yeah I think the key here is we don't have a sketch or any suspect in Tiffany's case. Somewhat off-topic but I'm adding our "send us info" link for anyone who wants to add any updates but aren't members of the site that I now use in the thread. You don't have to do this yourself. Little by little, I'll insert it into the threads you posted today. OK.

Law enforcement in Bonney Lake, Washington say Jeffrey Allen Klungness disappeared on March 2, 1996, the same day his mother was found murdered in their home. Based on the AMW web archives, he may have been featured sometime in the 1990s, but it is unclear if the case was featured further than that. From the Charley Project: Missing Since: March 2, 1996 from Bonney Lake, Washington Classification: Endangered Missing Date Of Birth: December 9, 1981 Age (at time of disappearance): 14 years old Height and Weight (at time of disappearance): 5'10 - 5'11, 155 - 160 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Brown hair, blue eyes. Jeffrey slouches when he is walking. He may use the names Jeffrey Haynes and/or Stanley Ipkiss. Jeffrey is dyslexic and has a speech impediment. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A green short-sleeved shirt, green pants and sneakers. Details of Disappearance Jeffrey's mother, Susan Klungness, was found deceased inside of their family's mobile home in the 20400 block of east 113th Street in Bonney Lake, Washington near Sumner on March 2, 1996. She had been killed by a blow to the head. Investigators believe she was beaten with a blunt object while sitting in an armchair in the living room. A trail of blood lead from the chair to her bedroom; she either crawled into the bedroom or was dragged there. Jeffrey's father, Ron Klungness, came home from work between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. and found the door to the residence unlocked and the television on. He tried to open his bedroom door and could not. He was able to open it at 6:30 p.m. and found Susan's body slumped against the door, holding it shut. Ron's gold watch and about $700 in cash had disappeared from the home. Jeffrey was also missing and has never been heard from again. His father last spoke to him by phone at 9:30 that morning. Ron says he and Susan, who had been married for fifteen years by the time of her death, had a troubled marriage and had separated once before. Their arguments distressed Jeffrey. He developed problems with anger before his disappearance and once damaged his bedroom door so badly that it had to be replaced. He was attending a private school at the time of his disappearance and doing better academically than he had been before. His father describes him as a shy but basically normal teenager. Martin S. "Marty" Malcolm, then 41, was employed as a handyman at the time and he claimed he discovered Susan's body on the day of her death. Malcolm told authorities that he panicked and drove away in Susan's maroon Toyota Camry station wagon with license plates numbered 093GHZ; the car was found abandoned at 4:00 a.m. the next day at a convenience store in Auburn, Washington. Malcolm turned himself into police that same day. He admitted withdrawing $300 dollars from Susan's bank account the day of her murder and says he spent it all at the Muckleshoot Casino that same evening. Martin was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail and has since been released. He has hired an attorney, refused to take a lie detector test, and will not speak to investigators about Susan and Jeffrey's cases. Neighbors reportedly told investigators that Malcolm was seen with Jeffrey shortly before the child vanished. He says he took Jeffrey to get a haircut at 11:30 a.m. Shortly afterwards, a surveillance camera at a drive-through bank automated teller machine (ATM) showed Malcolm driving Susan's Toyota. The camera didn't show Jeffrey, but a woman waiting in line behind Malcolm says she saw a "young person" in the car with him. Malcom says he returned Jeffrey to his home at 12:30 p.m. and left to run an errand. He returned to the Klungness residence at 2:00 p.m. and found Susan murdered and Jeffrey missing. Malcolm was a known friend of Jeffrey's and often drove him places. He was becoming unwelcome in the Klungness home by March 1996 because he spent so much time there and never put any gasoline in their car after he drove it. Malcolm has never been charged in connection with Susan's homicide or Jeffrey's disappearance. Malcolm had been convicted of second-degree murder in 1980; he killed his estranged wife. He was released from prison in 1992. Police are interested in locating Ron's watch, which disappeared after Susan's homicide. It is a Seiko Quartz with a gold finish and the serial number SGF 206. It is engraved with Ron's name and a message thanking him for thirty years of service with Boeing. Authorities believe the watch was taken by whoever murdered Susan and was possibly sold afterwards. An extensive search of the Bonney Lake area turned up few clues as to Jeffrey's whereabouts. He enjoys playing the game Magic. Investigators do not believe Jeffrey ran away from home, as he is not used to being on his own and it seems likely that he would have been in contact with his loved ones or the police eventually if he had left of his own accord. He is not considered a suspect in Susan's murder. Foul play is suspected in his disappearance. www.charleyproject.org/cases/k/klungness_jeffrey.htmlwww.missingkids.com/poster/NCMC/815715/1www.tpcrimestoppers.com/case.php?id=335doenetwork.org/cases/1517dmwa.htmlwww.missingin.org/reg2570/jeffrey_allen_klungness.htmAdmin Note #1: According to missingkids.org, anyone having information should call 1-800-THE-LOST or the Pierce County Sheriff's Office (Washington) - Crimestoppers at 1-253-591-5959Admin Note #2: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Police in Moline, Illinios say eleven-year-old Trudy Appleby disappeared on August 21, 1996 near her home. Based on the AMW web archives, she may have been featured sometime in the 1990s, but it is unclear if the case was featured further than that. From the Charley Project: Missing Since: August 21, 1996 from Moline, Illinois Classification: Non-Family Abduction Date Of Birth: September 4, 1984 Age (at time of disappearance): 11 years old Height and Weight (at time of disappearance): 4'8 - 5'0, 75 - 85 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Brown hair, blue/green eyes. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A shirt, black stretchy bicycle shorts, white socks and dark blue Nike deck shoes with white shoelaces. Details of Disappearance Trudy's father departed from their family's residence to report to work at approximately 9:00 a.m. on August 21, 1996 in Moline, Illinois. A neighbor saw Trudy enter a silver or gray four-door box-style vehicle, similar to a Chevrolet Celebrity, in the driveway of her home between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. The driver of the vehicle is described as being Caucasian and in his twenties at the time with curly brown or black hair worn long to his shoulders. The suspect was wearing a baseball cap. Neither Trudy nor her suspected abductor have been seen again. Her father reported her disappearance when he could not find her after he returned home from work. Authorities believe that Trudy may have known the vehicle's driver. Her family's residence was located off of the main road and was not visible from the street. Her case was initially investigated as a runaway, but investigators now believe Trudy was abducted. She took a swimsuit and a towel before departing from her home. She left approximately $200 behind, which her father said she saved for an upcoming vacation. Her case was initially treated as a runaway by police, but her parents never believed she left of her own accord and investigators now admit it is unlikely. Trudy's parents believe that David Whipple, the father of one of her friends, was involved in her case. He was convicted of child molestation charges after Trudy vanished; his victim was a girl close to Trudy's age. Whipple took several of his family members to Credit Island Park near Davenport, Iowa on August 21. Trudy frequently accompanied Whipple's relatives to the river. Her parents theorize that she may have been injured in an accident or was the victim of foul play during the excursion. Investigators have been unable to determine if Trudy accompanied Whipple's family to Iowa. He has never been named as a suspect in her disappearance, but authorities said he remained a person of interest. Trudy's case remains unsolved. Investigators stated that had little evidence and no solid suspects in her disappearance. Law enforcement in Livonia, Michigan have been looking for D'Wan Christian Sims for over twenty years. Based on the AMW web archives, he may have been featured sometime in the 1990s, but it is unclear if the case was featured further than that. From the Charley Project: Missing Since: December 11, 1994 from Livonia, Michigan Classification: Endangered Missing Date Of Birth: October 29, 1990 Age (at time of disappearance): 4 years old Height and Weight (at time of disappearance): 3'0, 50 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: African-American male. Black hair, brown eyes. D'Wan's first name may be spelled "D'wan." Clothing/Jewelry Description: A blue hooded three-quarter length winter jacket over a yellow, blue and green windbreaker, dark blue sweatpants and low-top FILA sneakers. Details of Disappearance D'Wan's mother, Dwanna Harris (who later married and changed her name to Dwanna Jackson), told authorities that her son disappeared while shopping with her at The Wonderland Mall in Livonia, Michigan on December 11, 1994. Harris stated that D'Wan was walking along the corridor between the Target store and the main area of the shopping mall with her when he suddenly vanished at approximately 2:30 p.m. D'Wan has never been heard from again. Investigators administered two polygraph tests to Harris shortly after D'Wan disappeared. She failed both of them. Authorities stated that they did not believe Harris's story and believed D'Wan was never at The Wonderland Mall with his mother the day he disappeared. No witnesses saw him there and he didn't show up on the tapes from the mall's twelve surveillance camera either. Witnesses did see Harris arrive at the mall, alone, at 3:30 p.m., an hour after she says D'Wan disappeared. Harris has maintained her innocence and said in 1995 that she was in therapy to deal with her son's disappearance. Relations between law enforcement and Harris have been strained due to their conflicting beliefs, but Harris told the media she keeps in contact with all agencies regarding D'Wan's case. Harris has never been charged in connection with her son's disappearance due to lack of evidence, and no suspects have been identified. Her mother says Harris was emotionally devastated by her son's disappearance. D'Wan had a $25,000 to $50,000 life insurance policy taken out by his grandmother, but his grandmother said it was for D'Wan's college education and Harris didn't know about it. There have been numerous leads regarding D'Wan's whereabouts throughout the proceeding years, but all failed to produce any evidence. One possible lead came in 1999, when investigators received a tip from another law enforcement agency regarding D'Wan's fate. Authorities excavated an area in Hines Park in Dearborn Heights, Michigan and discovered a bag of bones buried at the location. DNA tests were performed on the evidence, and testing proved the bones were not D'Wan's remains. In November 2003, the possibility was raised that D'Wan may be an unidentified child whose skeletal remains were found in Dekalb County, Georgia in 1999. The child is an African-American male approximately four feet tall. He was between five and seven years old when he died, and was wearing red denim jeans, new size 11 brown suede Timberland boots, and a long-sleeved hooded pullover shirt. The body of the shirt was blue plaid material and the sleeves and hood were dark blue thermal material. An artist's sketch of the child is posted below this case summary. DNA tests were conducted using DNA from D'Wan's parents, comparing them to the unidentified child's DNA. The testing ruled out the possibility that D'Wan was the boy. If you think you have information about the unidentified boy, call the Dekalb County Police at 404-294-2670. D'Wan remains missing. At the time of his disappearance he enjoyed watching television, especially the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers show. His case remains open and unsolved. The Agua Prieta Police Dept. in Mexico in association with the Cochise County Sheriff's Office and FBI in Arizona have been wondering about the disappearance of Omar Vargas for twenty years. Based on the AMW web archives, he may have been featured sometime in the Late 1990s, but it is unclear if the case was featured further than that. Omar Vargas disappeared from Agua Prieta, Mexico on April 22, 1995. Police say Omar's family stopped in Agua Prieta, just six miles from the Arizona border, to visit friends and attend a religious conference that took place in a huge lot with hundreds of people. Omar stood beside his dad as his father walked through the crowd and greeted friends. When his father turned around moments later, Omar was gone. The only clue police have in Omar's abduction is a sketch of a Hispanic man who is approximately 18-20 years old who has dark hair and dark eyes. The man has a short mustache and a slender build. I do have an interest to this case. But I sometimes wonder the reason why Edwards after cutting contact with his adoptive parents decided to kill them. I'm guessing that since he made no contact with family made it easier for him to disappear after the murders. A commenter on the YouTube video questioned why would the father as a ex green beret didn't fight Joe off. I place that as old age and that Joe had a gun.

Has anyone ever brought up the possibility that Tiffany's killer could be the same person who killed Nicole Smith in Atlanta 1995 and raped a young girl in East Point, Georgia in 2004? The M.O. fits, all young black girls, all in Georgia. Tiffany's body was too decomposed to know for sure if she was sexually assaulted I'm assuming, but I also assume it was a possibility. I doubt it. Not that it never happens, but I consider Nicole and Tiffany's deaths the fault of local criminals. Unless Tiffany was seen with a man that bare resemblance to the man wanted for Smith's murder.

Jesús De la Cruz of Lynn, Massachusetts, disappeared from his neighborhood at approximately 7:00 p.m. on September 28, 1996. Based on the AMW web archives, he may have been featured sometime in the Late 1990s. He was also featured in Unsolved Mysteries. From the Charley Project. Missing Since: September 28, 1996 from Lynn, Massachusetts Classification: Non-Family Abduction Date Of Birth: January 3, 1990 Age (at time of disappearance): 6 years old Height and Weight (at time of disappearance): 4'6, 60 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Hispanic male. Brown hair, brown eyes. Jesus has a scar above his left eye. He has birthmarks on his left calf and on the left side of his forehead. Jesus's left ear is pierced. His hair was short at the time of his September 1996 disappearance. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A white t-shirt, blue jeans and brown or yellow boots or high-top shoes. Details of Disappearance Jesus was last seen at about 6:00 p.m. on September 28, 1996, walking with a nine-year-old male friend on Park Street in the Commons area of Lynn, Massachusetts, near his family's residence. Jesus was pushing his pink Huffy bicycle, which had two flat tires at the time. He was on his way home after playing in Bennett Circle. Jesus's friend told authorities that they were approached by an unidentified Caucasian man in his twenties or thirties with shoulder-length black hair. The man was walking with a shepherd/collie dog with one white eye and one brown eye. His friend said that the individual lured Jesus away by promising him a new bicycle. Jesus never returned home and has not been seen again. He attended Connery Elementary School at the time of his disappearance. Authorities identified the man as Robert C. Levesque, 26, shortly after Jesus vanished. Levesque's apartment was searched and investigators discovered duct tape and handcuffs. It is not known if the items were related to Jesus's case. Levesque lived just around the corner from Jesus's home in 1996. He owned a dog matching the description of the alleged abductor's animal in 1996, and his dog, named Peaches, was found at one of the seven addresses he had given as recent residences. He called in sick at his job the evening of Jesus's disappearance and was arrested after Jesus vanished. Levesque was charged with a parole violation, motor vehicle offenses, and possession of stolen property in mid-October 1996. He has never been charged in connection with Jesus's disappearance. The Massachusetts Department Of Social Services (DSS) accused Jesus's mother, Magdalena Rodriguez (some agencies refer to her as "Magdalena Ramirez"), of neglect in the weeks following her son's disappearance. The agency said that Rodriguez did not report Jesus as a missing child until midnight on September 28, six hours after his apparent abduction. Others speculated that Jesus was abducted as the result of theorized drug use by his family members. Rodriguez denied any wrongdoing in Jesus's case and maintained that the claims were the result of racism against Hispanic individuals. Various rumors concerning Jesus's case circulated after his disappearance. Some people claimed that he had been taken to Puerto Rico, New York City, or the Dominican Republic as part of a deal to keep Rodriguez out of unspecified trouble. She has denied the allegations. Rodriguez has been interviewed by the police regarding her son's disappearance and says she is not concealing any knowledge connected to his case. She has since moved to another part of Massachusetts. Jesus's father, Juan De La Cruz, had been accused of allegedly abusing his son and threatening to abduct him from Rodriguez's custody prior to Jesus's disappearance. Authorities stated that Juan was at home at the time his son went missing, however. Juan has never been charged in connection with Jesus's case, and maintains contact with the police handling the investigation. There have been many possible sightings of Jesus around the country in the years after his disappearance, but none of the sightings have been confirmed. Jesus has never been located and his disappearance remains unsolved. Lucy Rebecca Meadows of Clarksville, Tennessee, was abducted from a parking lot in a Goodlettsville shopping mall on July 25, 1996. Based on the AMW web archives, she may have been featured sometime in the Late 1990s. From the Charley Project: Missing Since: July 25, 1996 from Goodlettsville, Tennessee Classification: Non-Family Abduction Date Of Birth : October 1, 1992 Age (at time of disappearance): 3 years old Height and Weight (at time of disappearance): 2'8, 30 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Biracial (Korean/Caucasian) female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Lucy may understand a few Korean words. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A long button-down blue denim dress with buttons on the front, white socks and white canvas shoes. Details of Disappearance Lucy was reportedly last seen in the parking lot of the Rivergate Mall in Goodlettsville, Tennessee on July 25, 1996. Her mother, Yong Meadows, told authorities that she let Lucy exit their vehicle's back seat on the driver's side. Yong then walked to the passenger side of the car to retrieve packages. When she turned around, Lucy had disappeared. The mall's security team was alerted to Lucy's disappearance immediately and an extensive search of the parking lot and surrounding area was completed by law enforcement. No evidence related to her case was discovered, although witnesses saw a brown or champagne-colored minivan in the parking lot which may be connected to her disappearance. It has never been identified. Lucy has never been heard from again. Lucy resided on a farm in Clarksville, Tennessee with her parents in 1996. Investigators searched the property, but there was no indication of her whereabouts. Her parents filed for divorce a month after her disappearance; the divorce was granted in 1997. Yong was granted custody of both the couple's children. Lucy's father is actively involved in her case. In November 2004, a witness came forward and said he had seen Lucy at her parents' home on the night prior to her disappearance and the child looked "as if she could have been dead." At least two adults were present, including Lucy's mother, and the witness stated the adults appeared to be panic-stricken, asked for a Bible and shouted Lucy's name repeatedly. The witness was only twelve years old at the time Lucy disappeared and says he didn't come forward sooner because he initially didn't realize the significance of what he saw. He has passed a polygraph test and investigators believe his story. The witness has not been identified, but investigators stated he is a family member. Yong has reportedly been uncooperative in the investigation and has given inconsistent statements. She initially said Lucy was out of her sight for only a few seconds, then changed the time to 10 to 15 minutes. In addition, a witness reported that Yong said Lucy disappeared from a mall in Clarksville, Tennessee, before saying she disappeared from the Rivergate Mall. Investigators have stated they do not believe Lucy was at either mall on the day she was supposedly abducted. Yong has failed two polygraph tests about her daughter's disappearance, and when she was last interviewed, she refused to make a statement at all. Authorities are attempting to start a grand jury investigation about Lucy's disappearance in Montgomery County, the county where she lived, rather than Davidson County, where the Rivergate Mall is. No suspects have been named in Lucy disappearance and it remains classified as a Non-Family Abduction. If I recall correctly he was on an amw strange but true episode for his bizarre attempts to kill twice (I may be wrong but at the very least he should have been) This was one of the cases I still vividly remember. But also I watched a segment on YouTube. Yes, he did tried to put a hit on someone twice and failed.

Jack Phillips has been missing from Big Bear Lake, San Bernardino, California, since August 6th, 1995. Based on the AMW web archive, he may have been featured in the late 1990s. Here's his case from the Charley Project: Missing Since: August 6, 1995 from Big Bear Lake, California Classification: Endangered Missing Date Of Birth: June 22, 1986 Age (at time of disappearance): 9 years old Height and Weight (at time of disappearance): 4'0, 72 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Brown hair, brown eyes. Jack has facial freckles and a gap between his two front teeth. He has a scar on his left cheek and his left ear is pierced. His nickname is J.D. He still had baby teeth at the time of his 1995 disappearance. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A black tank top, gray shorts with a Tasmanian Devil cartoon image on one of the legs, white socks, white sneakers and a hoop earring. Details of Disappearance Jack was last seen between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. on August 6, 1995 near the Aspen Glen picnic grounds in Big Bear Lake, California. He was picnicking there with his younger half-brother, his mother and her live-in boyfriend. Jack had an argument with his mother and her boyfriend the day he disappeared and he told a witness he was tired of arguing. He apparently vanished while walking back to where the adults were. Jack has no history of running away. Several days after Jack's disappearance, a friend of his family in Bakersfield, California received an automated phone call asking whether she would accept a collect call. She thought she heard Jack's voice on the line when the caller was supposed to announce himself, but the caller hung up before she could speak with him. It has not been confirmed that the caller was Jack. The only other person he knows in Bakersfield is his father, who was in prison in 1995. An extensive search of the area around the picnic grounds and Jack's nearby home turned up no sign of the child. His mother and her boyfriend aren't considered suspects in his disappearance. Jack's father and mother later got back together and now live in West Virginia. Convicted child killer James Crummel is the prime suspect in Jack's disappearance. He was a violent serial pedophile a record of child molestation dating back to the 1960s. All but one of his known victims were boys, and they looked like Jack and were in the same age group. He lived only a few blocks from Aspen Glen at the time Jack vanished, and later told a cellmate he had murdered the child. Authorities believe he may have disposed of Jack's body in the ocean. A photo of Crummel is posted below this case summary. In August 1967, he abducted a fourteen-year-old Wisconsin boy, molested him and beat him almost to death. He served five years of a thirty-year sentence for the crime. In 1983, he was convicted of the February 1967 murder of an Arizona boy and sentenced to life in prison, but the conviction was overturned in 1987 because of ineffective counsel. He ended up pleading guilty to kidnapping in the Arizona case and was released later that year. In 1997, Crummel was charged with the murder of a thirteen-year-old neighbor boy, James Wilfred "Jamey" Trotter. Jamey disappeared in 1979. In 1990, Crummel "discovered" the teen's skull, but it wasn't identified until 1996. After his murder arrest, investigators approached Crummel about Jack's case and he offered to confess to Jack's murder if prosecutors would not seek the death penalty for the Trotter murder. The deal was turned down and Crummel was convicted of Jamey Trotter's murder in 2004 and sentenced to death. In June 2012, Crummel committed suicide on death row by hanging himself with an electric cord. He didn't leave a note. Foul play is suspected in Jack's case due to the circumstances involved in his disappearance, but no one has ever been charged in his case.
