It turns out that when someone goes to the FBI Website, it says something along the lines of how it won’t be updated until further notice which leads me to believe that the Government shutdown has something to do with it.

Yeah probably due to the shutdown. Although the website probably wouldn't have been updated much this week since its holiday season anyway.

Also saw that notice and in agreement with the shutdown. Biggest issue with that is the FBI not able to add cases to their site if this shutdown extends into 2019, especially featured fugitive and seeking information cases.

Actually I’ve noticed why the FBI has added some big names to the murders section lately, and it’s because fugitives like Geronimo Mendoza Zuniga, Sukhrob Davronov, Adam Emery, & Fred Wert have been removed over the course of the year.

I think someone just soared to the head of the list contenders: Nemesio Oseguera-Cervantes. He already is wanted for numerous drug trafficking charges, and he does have a $10M bounty on him (he heads the Jalisco Cartel). However, there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that he ordered the grenade attack in Guadalajara. That's a bright red line that never gets crossed, and judging how the FBI already has a good-sized reward for info on the grenade attack, I think he's bound to be the next member on the list.

While I have felt the same way in recent months, i think it would only happen if Caro-Quintero gets captured/killed. That being said, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes has proven more colder and more elusive than El Chapo.

Thing is, Eduardo Ravelo killed embassy workers in a mistaken hit, but even that mistaken hit really raised the ante against him. I agree, that a vacancy would have to open up, but he would likely make the list as a #11 if there had been fatalities in that attack.

I would say that its Stefan Barabas, and/or Nicolae Popescu, but their DOB is 1986 and 1980 so it’s likely not them but they’re only Romanians I know on the FBI Most Wanted site.

I was thinking of them too but they're technically wanted out of New York field office.
Then there's Slobodan Lunic who was once on the FBI website and wanted out of Chicago but he's older than 46 and not Romanian lol.
I guess I'll wait to see if the FBI updates their most wanted Twitter to know for sure who it is without assuming (assuming they still will considering the ongoing government shutdown)

I wanted to ask everyone, which current FBI CAC fugitive would feel similar to Edward Harper if they were added to The FBI Top Ten if and when a slot opens up and now that the FBI added Greg Carlson i feel the timing is right for a CAC to finally be added.
i have a few names below.
1. Rex Reichert 2. Jeffrey Dean McDaniel 3. Bruce Sawhill 4. Jerry Dunning 5. Elby Hars
Anyone has any additional names or wants to add some feedback about my list?

I don't know what kind of "feel" they'd have but honestly the only two I could see making the top ten list are Reichert and Sawhill.
Just don't have that sense for any of the others.

Also it is a bit "boring" or frustrating for the site we won't have the FBI website updating for the time being, but in the long scheme of things, there are government workers not getting paid, reportedly mortgage applications getting delayed, and things like that so the website not being updated might be important to us, but just we need to root for it to end since there are even bigger life issues for our citizens right now.

Here are my FBI Top Ten Contenders for 2019 (Official List)
I’ve made my FBI Top Ten Contenders for 2019 and I’ve divided them with Cold Cases on one section and recent cases on another.
I’ve decided to add Pros and Cons to the Cold Cases since there is an argument to be made for why they should and shouldn’t be added. The recent case would more than likely be added, while Eugene Palmer is a debate we’ve already discussed.
Cold Cases: 1980s-2008
Thayne Smika- Wanted since 1983 for allegedly murdering his roommate in Colorado, he will be featured on the first season of In Pursuit in early 2019.
Pros: He will be featured on In Pursuit with John Walsh, which would be his second airing like Lamont Stephenson and in an effort to boost publicity, adding him to the list would be likely around the time his episode airs.
Cons: There may be someone else the FBI has lined up in case a slot opens up
Stanley Obas- Wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of 13 year old Richezza Williams in 1996 in Pennsylvania.
Pros: Obas is already pretty well known amongst sleuths and publicity in the area he is Wanted out of is intense. Also if there’s a possibility that he’s in Haiti, locating him wouldn’t be that hard.
Cons: There hasn’t been any trace of Obas since 1996 leading investigators working the case to believe he is possibly deceased.
Elby Jessie Hars- Wanted for allegedly molesting a Minor in 2000 in Richland County, South Carolina, Hars was aired on The Hunt With John Walsh in 2016.
Pros: Hars may have an increased chance in finally being added since Brad Bishop and Eduardo Ravelo are no longer on the list, as more recent fugitives are currently on the list. Adding Hars to the FBI Top Ten could be the boost they need to locate Hars as he’s already been aired on The Hunt and his case would make an interesting repeat of Edward Harper and Daniel Chafe (who was considered for the List). Also I personally believe if Hars is still alive, he’s likely still in the United States.
Cons: Hars has had many opportunities to be added to the Top Ten List such as the summer of 2016 when he was aired on The Hunt and the FBI had an open slot on the list with Shanika Minor captured. Also there’s the possibility Hars may be deceased given he was more on the heavy side and would be 75 years old as of this post on 1/11/19.
Rex C. Reichert- Wanted for allegedly molesting 2 boys prior to 1990 in Pennsylvania, investigators released new information and a new age progressed image in 2018.
Pros: The recent updates to Reichert’s Wanted poster mean that investigators working the case may finally want some closure to this case by locating him, by pointing out significant features about him and with Greg Alyn Carlson currently on the FBI Top Ten it would only be appropriate if a Crimes Against Children Case takes that slot if and when Carlson gets caught.
Cons: Similar with Hars, Reichert has had many opportunities to be added, and the fact that he’s an aging fugitive, it would be another thing to consider, over 6 months after removing legendary fugitive Brad Bishop.
Cases From The Current Decade: 2010-Present
Mark Anthony Ponce- Wanted for the alleged murder of his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend in 2014 in Texas.
Robert Brumsfield III- Wanted for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery and murder of a Loomis employee in 2013 in Louisiana.
Eugene Palmer- Wanted for allegedly murder get his daughter-in-law in New York State in 2012. In 2016 he was aired on The Hunt With John Walsh.
Dennis St. John Rodriguez- Wanted for the disappearance and alleged murder of a man in Florida in 2016. He is also wanted for questioning in several other murders.
Any thoughts??
