Nice list! Pretty much agree with pros and cons for the most part. Should also be noted a crimes against children fugitive still hasn't been added since Walter Lee Williams nearly six years ago.

Interesting, although my focus will be on In Pursuit until the shutdown ends (and would have been anyway). we need top ten spots to clear up at the moment anyway.

Kind of surprised Lamont Stephenson is the only top ten case on In Pursuit this season (and Luis Frias and Rick McLean being the only USMS top 15 cases as well).
I fully expected Lamont to get an airing, but surprised at Alejandro Castillo and Santiago Mederos at least. Greg Alyn Carlson was added recently enough to at least get a 15 seconds of shame.
Not criticizing the show as I'm sure they have their reasons. But it does not seem as top list heavy as The Hunt was. (Which isn't necessarily a bad thing as it's good to get more unknown fugitive cases publicity as well).

We do need a focus on non nationally known cases as I would call it. Thankfully Season 1 of In Pursuit us providing a relative good variety of cases, and mostly recent to semi-recent as well!

I’ve been debating this in my head, and this year the FBI has indeed added some very dangerous fugitives for example, Juan Alberto Mendez & Philip Lee Lewis.
I’ve been debating whether to consider Juan Alberto Mendez, a potential FBI Top Tenner or not, and there are a lot of things telling me he should be and a lot of things for why he shouldn’t be at the moment.
It’s honestly kinda interesting how the FBI just added this known Gulf Cartel member to its site given that its been little more than 20 years since the FBI added the founder of the Gulf Cartel to its 10 Most Wanted List, and how the Cartel has faded somewhat, it’s mostly the CJNG and the Sinaloa Cartel that are the U.S.’s biggest target as we’ve seen last year with Rafael Caro-Quintero.

I realize it sort of takes the fun out of debating but ANY recent fugitive added to the violent crimes and murders section is a theoretical candidate for the top ten list, and therefore Lewis and Mendez are potential candidates should a spot open up, but let's hope they're capture before they can even have that chance.

Not to sound morbid and correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I can tell there has not been a top ten fugitive to die or be confirmed dead while CURRENTLY on the list since Osama Bin Laden in 2011 (Donald Webb doesn't count since he was no longer on the list when they found his body). Seems a bit weird since based on averages you'd think it would happen at least once more in the past 7 years. I think we all thought that's how the Eric Frein manhunt would end but surprisingly he surrendered peacefully. Sure some on the list may be dead already for all we know, but there have been no official deaths for 7 years and counting now. The reason I thought about this is Antwan Mims with his violent alleged tendencies imo might be the guy to buck that trend, I fear he's a guy who will not go down easily and may attempt to take others with him. I sincerely hope not and that he's taken alive as this is not a vigilante forum. I don't have much sympathy when a fugitive does die and it does admittedly spare the victims' family the pain of a trial, but the goal for law enforcement is obviously to attempt to arrest them so they can receive a fair trial first. Just kind of surprised we haven't seen a death on the list recently. Well it wasn't Mims but I did sort of predict it.

I’m curious to see who will take the deceased Greg Alyn Carlson’s spot on the Ten Most Wanted List.

Actually I just remembered they added Robert Shouse to the Crimes Against Children section and I’m thinking with the non murder slot open on the FBI Top Ten, perhaps Shouse could be added since his charges are very awful.

I agree Shouse would be an excellent choice if they decided to add him.

I was just wondering... I know that there's the FBI TOP 10 Most Wanted 'voting poll' for captures as well as the same going for the Marshals TOP 15ers but I was just wondering has any one in this forum thought of maybe making a voting poll to see if any of us here can guess as to who is going to be the 1st ever BRAND NEW fugitive to be added to the infamous TEN of 2019? ? I mean I'm just asking? It's not like I'm saying there should be a poll like that (although it would be nice) but in the same exact way I don't know maybe any of you fellow forum members just happen to work for the bureau or the marshals and we can vote to see who is going to be the first FBI TOP TENNER of 2019 to be added (since Greg Alyn Carlson was shot dead earlier this week)....?

Hello fugitivehunter666, I moved your post to here since this is the general discussion thread for the top ten list. (Hey at least you posted in the right section at least! ) Although I know based on the nature of our site, federal agents from the FBI and Marshals must have at least read our site, and one or two have posted about a specific case (usually after a capture), there are no regular members that I know of that work for the feds. Also, please refrain from cussing on the forum or edit the cussing. It's fine to cuss but bleep it out is what I'm saying. A**hole instead of it being spelled out lol.

I think they should not add fugitives in their 70s as half of them are probably dead due to natural health problems or they might not be well enough to be taken into custody and will probably die 3 years or more into their sentence. Younger fugitives in a way seem to have less experience on the run than the older ones for obvious reasons and in a few years time a lot of the fugitives that are currently in their 70s will be in their 80s meaning that it is unlikely they will be found. If they add a fugitive that has been on the run for more than 20 years it will be interesting to see what they will do about it and what new steps they might take to arrest them. However they have a criteria which decides who gets put on the list so we will see.
