Paul Gills
On October 4, 1996, the suspect posed as a water and power employee and approached the victim at her residence. The suspect stated they were there to fix the victim's fusebox. The victim let the suspect into her residence and he informed the victim he needed a blank check from the victim to fix the fusebox. The victim signed a blank check for the suspect and gave it to him. The suspect then cashed the check for himself in the sum of $5,500 dollars. The suspect may frequent the state of Texas. He has an outstanding warrant in Texas for burglary. Additional Information: The suspect is wanted on an out of state burglary warrant.

Thoughts? As of this posting date (March 16th, 2020), Gills is still listed on the LAPD most wanted website, which granted is not the most updated website and has mainly cold case fugitives only, but since it still a functioning website enough for me to reasonably assume that he is probably still wanted as of this update. If that status has changed or changes in the future, anyone is more than welcome to let us know.
