From the LAPD Most Wanted website:
Javier Ramiro Diaz
On August 4, 2002 at approximately 6:40 A.M., Javier Diaz was driving his 1987 Nissan Maxima southbound on Rampart Boulevard when he ran off the roadway and collided with a street sign. Diaz was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of an intoxicant and released on his own recognizance. Central Traffic Detectives investigating the case determined that Diaz was a habitual driving under the influence offender. Diaz failed to show up for court in 2002 and all attempts to serve an arrest warrant have failed. Diaz continues to evade arrest but is believed to be living in the City of Los Angeles, and may be moving between relative's residences to avoid arrest.
WARNING: THIS INDIVIDUAL IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPREHEND SUSPECT YOURSELF. IF SEEN, CONTACT YOUR LOCAL POLICE STATION ASAP.

Thoughts? As of this posting date (March 13th, 2020), Diaz is still listed on the LAPD most wanted website, which granted is not the most updated website and has mainly cold case fugitives only, but since it still a functioning website enough for me to reasonably assume that he is probably still wanted as of this update. If that status has changed or changes in the future, anyone is more than welcome to let us know.
P.S. This one I was really on the fence about even reasonably assuming since I can't see how this guy has avoided arrest for so many years being an alleged habituallet bad driver. Nevertheless, if he is still at large it is sti important to hold him responsible as his next alleged crash at a still relatively young age could cause injuries or worse.
