DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. —
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused of felony sex assault charges.
According to the sheriff's office, Andres Castro, 36, did not show up to court on Friday. Castro is facing multiple felony charges of sexual assault on a child.
The sheriff's office said Castro was being monitored by a GPS bracelet while on pretrial release. According to the sheriff's office, Castro removed his GPS bracelet and may have fled the country.
Authorities said Castro may have fled to El Salvador.
Anyone with information about Castro's location is urged to contact the Douglas County Sheriff's Office at (402) 599-2634.

P.S. I know I shouldn't but I still find it amazing after 7-plus years of being the admin of this forum that they still haven't figured a way to monitor ankle monitors- or make better decisions over who to give them to in the first place.
