From The Des Moines Register (desmoinesregister.com):
Authorities are looking for a man accused of shooting at people in southwestern Iowa.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Dillon Allen Paul Lester, 23, who is facing two counts of attempted murder, according to a news release from the Adams County Sheriff's Office. Officials there say he may be hiding in Des Moines.
The charges stem from a Jan. 12 incident in the 1500 block of Quince Avenue — a rural paved road in Adams County, deputy Cory Dorsey said Thursday. Adams County is about 90 miles southwest of Des Moines.
"The shooting took place on a highway as the vehicles were driving," Dorsey said. Deputies were told Lester had shot at the victims through the back of the car he was driving.
No one was injured in the shooting and the suspect knew the victims, Dorsey said. He could not comment on what led to the shots being fired.
He said he called Lester, who has no known connection to Adams County, shortly after the incident, but he refused to speak with investigators. The suspect's phone was turned off soon thereafter.
Dorsey said Des Moines police a couple hours after the shooting found an abandoned, running car similar to the one Lester was last seen in.
"A vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle was located along the road in Des Moines later that day," the release states. "The vehicle contained spent ammunition and a blown-out back window."

Thoughts? Based on the above article's posting date and other local online articles, Lester was still at large at least as of February 27th, 2020. It is a miracle no one was killed, let alone the people Lester was allegedly targeting, as a result of Lester's alleged brazenness on a public highway.
