Franklin Miller, 49, has served time for homicide but now the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force needs your help tracking him down. In 1985, a Bell County court convicted him of homicide. “Franklin Miller was a young individual at the age of 21, when he was charged for the homicide and spent 22-years behind bars,” says Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Filla.
But it’s what happened after his release from prison in 2008 that makes him a wanted man. In June 2013, while on parole, investigators say he burglarized a building and committed arson in Travis County. He hasn’t been seen since. His last known address is on the 6500 block of Bluff Springs Road in South Austin.
But Deputy Filla says he could be anywhere. “We like to focus our attention here in the Austin area, a lot of his dealings in the past date back to the 80s. But his (current) crime spree did bring us through Williamson county, through Burnet county as well as Killeen,” says Deputy Filla.
Franklin Miller is 5’11, weighs 160 pounds with hazel eyes and strawberry blond hair. “Currently we have two vehicles that were registered in his name, so we’re currently looking for those as well,” says Deputy Filla.
The two vehicles are a 1993 Blue/Silver Chevy pick-up license plate number BJN 2006. The other is a 2002 Gold Mercury, License Plate LPG 729.

Thoughts? I normally don't post breaking news recent fugitive cases, however I couldn't resist this one, mainly because this fugitive shares two-thirds of the name of The Hunt premiere case Shane Franklin Miller. However, he is a convicted murderer which does make him very dangerous and which is why he needs to be back behind bars on the burglary and arson charges.
