Breaking news fugitive Terence Doddy is suspected in two homicides within as many days in Illiois As of two weeks ago, Doddy lived with his wife and child at their home. He left the residence after his wife filed an order of protection against him, barring Doddy from the property. Two weeks later, on Monday, June 30th, he allegedly beat 37-year old Todd Hansmeier to death inside a Rockford, Illinois office building. Police say he then set the crime scene in an attempt to burn the body, and took off with Hansmeier's car. The very next day, July 1st of this year, he allegedly attacked and killed 44-year old Tonya D. Bargman and took off with her car, leaving Hansmeier's behind. According to records, June 18, an emergency order of protection was issued against Doddy for allegedly kneeling on his wife’s neck and chest and threatening to punch her to death. He was charged with aggravated domestic battery in that case. Doddy is believed to be driving Bargman’s gray 2013 Nissan Altima with the Illinois license number BARGMN2. Police are urging citizens to dial 911 if anyone spots Doddy or the suspect vehicle It is feared he may have returned to Rockford, Illinois. Doddy is charged with three-counts of first-degree murder in the Hansmeier case, one count of aggravated domestic battery in another case, and charges are still pending in the death of Tonya Bergman. Authorities urge citizens to avoid Doddy and to dial 911 if he’s spotted. Information can also be reported to the Rockford Police Department at (815) 987-5824 or Crime Stoppers at (815) 963-7867. rockrivertimes.com/2014/07/02/police-security-camera-captured-doddy-killing-woman-at-i-39-rest-area/rockrivertimes.com/2014/07/02/murder-suspect-may-have-returned-to-rockford/

I'll try to keep the forum updated on what led to this crime spree in the first place if I find it. But needless to say this is a very dangerous fugitive we're dealing with. And while not approaching a fugitive and calling police is always the advice if you spot them, it probably should be stressed even more than usual with this case.

If Doddy was charged with 3 counts of murder for the death and body bombing of Hansmeier, does that mean 2 more people died in the explosion? I thought 3 people had to die before the suspect could be charged with 3 counts of murder.

I thought 3 people had to die before the suspect could be charged with 3 counts of murder. That is a good question. All indications are only Hasmeier died. The wording is weird, so unsure here unless maybe he's wanted for 3 counts in relation to the murder- killing, arson, etc. As far as I know there are only two known victims so far (One he's officially charged with and one victim he's suspected of killing).
