Willie BRUMFIELD's last known ties were to Harris County and Fort Bend County, including areas on the west side of Houston and areas north of Sugar Land. BRUMFIELD also has ties to the New Orleans area in Louisiana.In March 2018, warrants were issued in Harris County for BRUMFIELD's arrest for Trafficking of Child, Compelling Prostitution, and Evading Arrest or Detention. On October 7, 2019, an additional warrant was issued in Harris County for BRUMFIELD's arrest for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.

Thoughts? As of this posting date (1/24/2020), Brumfield is still listed on the Texas Department of Public Safety website as onw of their top ten most wanted fugitives, and was seeminlgy added sometime in the past month: www.dps.texas.gov/texas10mostwanted/MostWanted/fugitives

Finally, since I'm sure the question might be asked, for now I am assuming it is coincidence and Willie is not related to now captured In Pursuit fugitive Robert Brumfield III. Both have ties to New Orleans and Harris County so I wouldn't be surprised if they turned out to be related, but so far I can't find anything on the people search websites to suggest the two are related. If anyone has clarity on that they're more than welcome to, but it really doesn't have anything to do with this particular manhunt.
