Cong Chi Le was aired during the Valentine's Day 2-hour Fox AMW special in 2012. Although his profile is no longer available online, I was able to transcribe his alleged crime from an AMW radio segment I have on him:
"The town of Westminster, California, just south of L.A. is known as Little Saigon, that's because of its' large Vietnamese population. But it's also known for its' violent gang problem. Cops say a punk named Cong Chi Le led a gang called the Little Saigon Hoodlums. On November 2nd, 2007, Chi Le and some of his crew tracked a rival gang banger to a fast food joint. Without warning, cops say the gang lit up the crowded restaurant with more than 40 bullets. Amazingly, no one was killed. Chi Le and two of his crew led cops on a short high-speed chase after the shooting, and Chi Le got away. Cops say he may be hiding in California or Houston, Texas."
Thoughts? In my opinion, alleged gang members often can stay in their general area or go back and forth from Mexico or another destination due to gang protection. While I don't think Le's in Mexico, Cops must have a reason to think Houston, Texas is a possibility, and I can see him travelling between California and Texas. In any case, it's a miracle no one was killed in that melee. I think that's the only reason this case surprisingly to me didn't seem to get more publicity. Considering how much public mass shootings have been in the news lately, even though the patrons weren't Chi Le's target, you'd think 40 bullets at a public fast food venue would have raised more eyebrows.
