(Above: Eva, circa 2019. Photo Credit: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's missingkids.org website) From mysanantonio.com: An Amber Alert was issued for a girl who has been missing from Hondo since last month. Eva Garcia, 14, was last seen at about 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 16 in the 200 block of 18th St., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. She is 5 foot 2, weighs 110 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair. She reportedly was last seen wearing a black and white shirt, black shorts and pink sandals. Hondo police have said that an Amber Alert was not immediately issued because her case initially did not meet the requirements set by DPS. www.mysanantonio.com/news/local/article/Ambert-Alert-issued-for-Hondo-teen-missing-since-14833124.phpNCMEC Amber Alert link: api.missingkids.org/poster/AMBER/30350/11606/screenThoughts? It should note the Amber Alert link stresses Eva is believed to be in grave danger. I'm not sure if that information wasn't known before and that's why it took a month for the Amber Alert but regardless that makes locating Eva extremely important. Admin Note #1: According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's missingkids.org website, anyone having information on this case should immediately call 911 or the Hondo Police Department at (830)-741-6153

In a bizarre twist, the Amber Alert for Eva was called off because people were complaining about constant messages about it.

Found an article about, unbelievable, there are options to turn off the volume your phone so it doesn't vibrate/make noises with Amber Alerts if it bothers you that much. I bet all these people complaining would change their tune differently if what happened to Eva's parents happened to them. So sorry these people's lives were temporarily inconvenienced while Eva's parents don't know if she's even alive or not. It is important to note Eva is still missing and still needs to be found. news4sanantonio.com/news/local/parents-criticize-discontinued-amber-alert-for-missing-hondo-teen

Well af least #LivePDNation cares as Eva was on last night's Missing segment on A&E's Live PD. They interviewed her father who explained that she initially ran away after an argument where he took her phone away, however she has never run away before and based on the passage of time is concerned she is being held against her will. As a result of the Live PD publicity I will move Eva's thread to the Missing on TV section. Live Pd segment: m.twitter.com/OfficialLivePD/status/1198097011045785600
