Cruz escaped from the custody of the Massachusetts DOC in 1993 while serving a five year state prison term for distribution of heroin. Cruz is described as a Hispanic male, 5' 5" tall, 130 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. His date of birth is August 1, 1960. His last known address was in Worcester, Massachusetts and he is Dominican with many ties to the Dominican Republic.
