(Above photo credit: jenniferkesse.com) Jennifer Kesse has been missing for the past eight years. Her case was aired on AMW shortly after she disappeared. Jennifer was living in Orlando, Florida while working as a financial analyst. She was last heard from on the evening of Jan 24, 2006, while she was at her apartment. The following day, her co-workers notified her family after she didn't show up for work and her parents found all of her belongings at her apartment. A few days later, her car was found in another apartment complex nearly a mile away. Authorities want to determine the identity and question the person shown in the surveillance footage above, this person was seen parking Jennifer's car and walking away. All that's known is that this person is 5'3-5'5, was wearing clothes similar to what a painter or manual laborer would wear and could be a man or a woman. Jennifer had mentioned that some of the construction workers in her apartment complex had frightened her, however authorities were not able to link any of them to her disappearance. Thoughts? I remember this case getting a ton of media attention when Jennifer first went missing, however now it's become ice-cold. Some have suggested that this may be connected to the 2005 disappearance of Tara Grinstead because both were attractive young women who went missing a few months apart, however since they lived four hours away from each other, I have no reason to believe that the cases are linked. www.charleyproject.org/cases/k/kesse_jennifer.htmlAdmin Note : If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Unfortunately this sounds like an abduction/murder case.
Also when you are an attractive young woman unfortunately there is probably no shortage of creepy guys. I remember watching a crime show on ID where the murdered victim had a crazy stalker who even went to her funeral where no one knew him. I thought it had to be him but it turned out it was a guy who killed her during a robbery.
So yeah those construction workers may have been creeps but it may have been a sexual predator who wasn't one of them that abducted Jennifer.
This case does need to be solved though because the longer it goes on, the more potential for more disappearances and/or deaths if thede haven't been already.

Ok here's what they said on Crime Watch Daily-
-Jennifer's boyfriend at the time had an air tight alibi and phone records show he was 200 miles away in Fort Laudedale at the time of her disappearance.
-One of her ex-boyfriends was jealous that Jennifer went to the Caribbean with her new boyfriend
-A married co-worker incessantly flirted with Jennifer. She finally met him to tell him to leave her alone.
-As mentioned previously, it's thought perhaps any of the men working in her apartment complex could be suspects.
-Jennifer's father and her friend, who is a reporter, believes she is alive and is being trafficked.
I'll post the segment once Crime Watch Daily uploads it to their website.

Here is the thing: I wouldn't rule out that the abductor is a woman. The reason being, the FBI has concluded that the person of interest in this case was 5'3" to 5'5", which is very short for a man, but it is still possible the abductor was a male. Plus, this is just gut instinct on my part, but the gait of the person of interest is almost feminine. Another thing that I noticed from the surveillance photos: this person has an unusually large shoe size for their height. To me, it almost appears that their shoe bends greatly towards the toe, which indicates to me that this person was deliberately wearing shoes that were too big for him/her. That indicates to me that this crime was planned out well in advance.
I am not necessarily sure that one of the workers at her complex was responsible: the police now suspect that she was abducted on the way to work and not at the complex. That makes sense to me, because we now know there was a witness who saw a car swerving (similar to her's) and it appeared there were two people fighting over the wheel.
The only two things that make sense to me are either a stalker or a dispute at work we don’t know about.

They've mentioned the possibility of a woman before but in my opinion it doesn't fit the m.o. here. I can see a woman hiring someone to abduct Jennifer or abducting her with a man but usually women don't abduct other women on their own. If a female is involved in this case, in my opinion she also had a male accomplice or the male accomplice is the main suspect and the female helped hide evidence.
Jennifer was an attractive women who could have had stalkers even she didn't know about.
I'm also sorry to say that while I never want to rule out miracles- I feel sadly if Jennifer was alive she would have been found by now. I'm not trying to criticize her father in any way- if I were him of course I'd want to hold onto any sort of hope- but trafficking- while sometimes done via kidnappings- is mainly orchestrated by tricking or manipulating runaway women with nowhere else to go- and usually younger than Jennifer's age at the time.
Whatever happened, hopefully one day there will be closure.

I agree with your theory. I don't agree with her father, and I am not insulting his intelligence, and he has every right to hold out hope for his daughter. Unfortunately, I just don't see a happy ending in this case (Jennifer's mother has indicated the same). Assuming she was abducted between 7:30-8:00 as originally theorized, and she was indeed murdered, and if the killer spent 15-20 minutes disposing her remains, her remains would be somewhere in this radius in order for the killer to have dumped her car at 12:00 P.M. that day.
I believe her killer is a local resident, because he/she seemed very comfortable not only dumping her car at a nearby apartment complex, but he/she clearly knew how to flee the area her car was dumped in on foot. I do not think one of the workers was responsible for her death because we know she wasn't abducted (as the police suspect) from the complex parking lot, and I feel if they wanted to attack her, they would have done so right there.

This might be an out there theory but just some sort of hunch to where I wonder if Jennifer's disappearance and the disappearance of Ali Gilmore in Tallahassee in February 2006 might be related. On the surface, the two cases seem completely unrelated. Jennifer was white while Ali was African-American. Ali also had some aspects to her case that would more strongly suggest a non-stranger abduction- she was pregnant and having marital problems and was allegedly having an affair. However, I can't help but notice how she disappeared just two weeks afterwards and also just seemingly disappeared out of nowhere- with her car keys missing although I can't find anything else about the car. Also although Tallahassee is about a 3 hour and 45 minute drive from Orlando, it would make sense if there was an abductor who was traveling through the state for work such as a trucker or construction driver. Thoughts? I want to stress I don't necessarily think the cases are related, just that I feel it is worth looking into whether they might be. amwfans.com/thread/11269/ali-isha-gilmore-florida-2006
