I normally would mention sports in the daily chitchat thread but figured this deserves its' own thread, as the Washington Nationals, who have been supporters of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children since moving to D.C. from Montreal, have won the World Series after 7 games! Congrats to them and glad to see karma work out!

Congrats to them and glad to see karma work out! The Astros were way,way too arrogant after their ALCS win and acted as if the trophy was theirs. That arrogance blew up in their face and rightfully so. |

That too. And I was also annoyed with their general attitude and stereotyping of Yankee fans. They acted like every Yankee fan was a stereotypical gold chain wearing foul-mouthed miscreant who yells "I'm walking here!" at every taxi cab. Granted I think some threw things in one game and that's horrible but it was a small percentage other fans apologized for. Otherwise Yankee fans can be a little more verbal than other teams but this is professional sports, it comes with the territory as do all the talking heads on sports shows and Twitter critiquing everything as well. Also if they think Yankee fans are bad they should be glad they didn't have to play Philly in the world series, whose fans have booed Santa Claus and cheered a player getting injured once. Get over it.
