Carlos Alberto Salazar Velasquez was profiled on last night's "wanted" segment on A&E's Live PD. (The regular weekend edition wanted segment, not the spinoff show). According to the segment, for more than two years, the Tallahassee Police Department and U.S. Marshals have been on the hunt for Velasquez, who is wanted for multiple sex crimes involving a minor. According to Tallahassee Police Department Investigator Mike Cockerham, who was interviewed on the show, Carlos was a family friend of the victim. It was discovered in late September of 2017 that he had been sneaking into the victim's bedroom, unbeknownst to anybody, and committed a list of sex offenses against the victim.
Velasquez is believed to have ties to Veracruz Mexico where he has family. He is believed to have fled the Tallahassee area. Velasquez was previously employed as an electrician.
Thoughts? Unfortunately I could not find a photo or article online so the Live PD segment url posted at the top is the only way to see his photo for now and/or learn more details for (edit: found a photo). I also couldn't find Velasquez in Florida's public warrants search as of this posting date (10/27/2019), so for the time being we will depend on Live PD to keep us updated, and they usually do a great job at updating and I'm sure they will.
P.S. Carlos, actually it is not only God who can judge you, but judges as well, that is literally their job to judge you. So if you're caught and proven guilty, I hope the judge throws the book at you on his "judgment day."
