Thoughts? This is a breaking news case so we know Gess is still at large as of today (October 22nd, 2019). I've been on the record on this forum- I have a history of mental illness in my family- I'm very sensitive to it and while sometimes defendants use it for an excuse there are others who are genuinely sick. But at the same time, Gess's illness is what makes it even more important to catch him as man who is a danger to himself as well as others based on the alleged situation. Hopefully this manhunt can end peacefully with no more tragic loss of life.
