From the Sarasota (Florida) Sheriff's Office website- Unsolved Crimes section:
On October 29, 1989 the body of Jennifer Hunter was discovered in a parking lot of the industrial area at 2060 61st St. Jennifer’s death was a result of a homicide. Jennifer was last seen the previous evening. Jennifer had a history of prostitution and was known to frequent the area of U.S. Highway 301 and U.S. Highway 41. Jennifer is believed to have used the industrial area to consummate her prostitution activities.

Thoughts? Regardless of Jennifer's profession, she was still a human being that didn't deserve to be murdered.
Also on that note, I'm not criticizing the Sarasota Sheriff's Office as they deserve credit for publicizing her case in the first place, but this reminds me of one of the lectures I attended at CrimeCon this year, where a professor who wrote a book on serial killers stated the correct term to genreally use now is "sex worker" instead of prostitute. This summary I'm assuming was written years ago and this is relatively new terminology, but I wanted to mention it and also I want to make sure I do a better job myself for future reference.
In any case, this was the 80's albeit late 80s and in Florida so my fear is Jennifer is a yet to be named victim of a serial killer.
