From NYup.com:
Police in the Hudson Valley have asked for the public’s help to find a man believed to have killed his wife.
George Grogan, 59, allegedly told his son that he’d killed Audrey Grogan on Friday.
Police searched Grogan’s home in Poughkeepsie but didn’t find anyone inside, according to the Hudson Valley Post. Police then determined that George may be a danger to himself.
On Saturday, Grogan’s 2010 Dodge Caravan was located at the Anthony’s Nose trailhead at Bear Mountain State Park in Orange County. News 12 Westchester reports that a park employee found Audrey’s body inside the vehicle. Investigators said she appears to have died under suspicious conditions.
New York State Police believe visitors to the popular hiking area may have seen Grogan at some point after he arrived.
Grogan is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall with gray, balding hair, weighing 150-160 pounds.
Police have asked anyone who saw Grogan or his vehicle in the area on Saturday, September 28, 2019, between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to contact the New York State Police at (914) 769-2600 in reference to case #9178276.

Thoughts? Based on news reports, Grogan was still unaccounted for at least as of October 1st, 2019.
Anyway, shades of the Eugene Palmer case all over again in my opinion- in literally the same geographic region. It's entirely possible Grogan killed himself and just hasn't been found yet, but there's always the possibility that he is alive and on the run if he really did kill his wife. So it's still important to get the story out there and the case solved as quick as possible regardless of outcome.
