Great news for us fans of America's Most Wanted. Starting Thursday, October 17th, every Thursday at 10 PM ET on A&E will be a spin-off of Live PD called "Live PD: Wanted" that will profiled most wanted fugitives across the country. Former AMW correspondent and current Live PD co-host Tom Morris, who was gracious enough to do an interview with us a few years back, will host the show. With the combination of this show to fill in the off-season and then In Pursuit next year it is nice to see although sporadically slowly but surely bad guys and girls are getting put back in the spotlight again! m.twitter.com/OfficialLivePD/status/1175594689673580546

OMG you do not know how excited I am that Tom Morris gets to do this! And we have a national media outlet to profiling fugitives while we wait for Season 2 of In Pursuit now! I will be watching this!

Growing up watching AMW I always wanted Tom Morris to take over whenever the man and legend John Walsh wanted to retire (this was before I knew Callahan wanted to follow in his father's footsteps). Not AMW, but it is Tom hosting a fugitive show so I'm very excited!

A few inquiries I have about the upcoming new series that I don't think have been answered yet by A&E.
1): Will this be a 10-10:30 show or a 10-11 PM show on EST.
2): Who will be providing the majority of the cases to the producers. Will the frequent ride-long departments like Richland County, South Carolina and Greene County, Missouri have more of a say. What about the US Marshals Service since they guest starred on the Wanted Special awhile back. I feel this makes a lot of sense.
3): Will A&E be focusing more on recent fugitive cases (ex. 2014-2019). As we can tell from the 2010s exclusive fugitives section of this forum, there's no shortage of recent fugitive cases to focus on. I really want to try to get similar results to the first year of AMW if possible, so focusing on relatively recent cases will help a lot with that.

I think one hour as far as question one but don't quote me on that. As far as questions two and three, I would assume it would be similar to the Wanted special, pretty much similar to the Live PD format only they show taped ride-alongs or warrants squads etc... and then may use the P.D. from the particular area to show a wanted fugitive from that part (please note these are only my speculations and not actual fact). The Wanted special was all recent or relatively recent cases so this show probably will be as well.

Also from what I've read, A&E does have a Latin American version of their channel that reaches over 32 million households. I can't confirm if Live PD specifically gets aired in those countries, especially Mexico, but I suspect it would.

Live PD's official twitter page just confirmed that Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb will be joining Tom Morris on the series premiere. This makes sense as Pinal County in Arizona has been featured on regular Live PD before.
It would help if we could get at least one local Pinal County fugitive aired since I've never seen a detailed most wanted list for that county.

There’s a Live PD: Wanted official A&E website now. Here’s some additional info. - There will be updates on fugitives caught on Live PD. - The producers will follow fugitive/warrant task forces as they serve warrants in real time. This makes sense, but it remains to be seen how many wanted fugitives will be aired per episode. www.aetv.com/shows/live-pd-wanted

I've seen some online comments about this and I wanted to mention that some people's TV schedules may not be showing Live PD: Wanted specifically on tonight at 10 EST.
My provider is just showing Live PD from 8-11. I'm assuming because it's a new show the tv providers haven't fully updated their schedules yet.

I have to admit I didn't see the episode because I was busy watching the Yankees blow it once again but I'll catch the rerun when available on the app and thankfully they post their wanted segments on Twitter anyway so I can still make threads tonight (anyone else is more than welcome to make threads too as well if they watch the show and want to beat me to it).

I'm watching the wanted profiles and former AMW correspondent Michelle Sigona is also on the show introducing cases!
It truly is an AMW reunion!

Just caught the five wanted segments on Twitter and I'm highly impressed with the number and selection of cases!
I really feel we can get a direct capture off at least one of these fugitives, especially with Kevin Massey, Phillip Williamson and Dean Boland.

Small suggestion to A&E. They should probably start posting fugitive profiles of suspects still at large that were broadcast on an episode of Live PD: Wanted (and regular Live PD for that matter) on the Live PD: Wanted official A&E website. It's just more efficient to keep them in the public's eye then have to go through several old twitter postings.
