CONCORD, N.H. —
More than 40 years ago, a Concord woman was found strangled to death in her apartment. The case remains unsolved.
Judy Lord, 22, was last seen alive about 10:30 p.m. on May 19, 1975. She had left a volleyball game that was being played in a common area of the Royal Gardens apartment complex, where she lived.
Lord was found dead about 12:30 p.m. on May 20. She was suffocated and strangled to death, police said.
At the time of her death, Lord lived in the apartment with her 17-month-old son, Gregory.
Crime scene technicians spent more than two days processing the apartment for evidence.
Numerous interviews have been conducted over the years in this investigation, but no arrests have ever been made.
