Details of Disappearance
Victor was visiting his grandfather in Kirby, West Virginia with his family in May 1994. He was last seen playing with his two older male cousins in a wooded area behind their grandfather's mobile home, near Short Mountain on May 1, 1994.
They played for about thirty minutes until approximately 8:30 a.m., when Victor got hungry and said he was returning to his grandfather's home for food. His cousins lost track of him in the woods. Victor has never been heard from again.
Investigators do not suspect foul play in Victor's case; they believe he became lost and died of exposure. The terrain in the Short Mountain area is very rough and rocky. Victor's disappearance was followed by five days of rainy weather with temperatures dipping down to near freezing at night. If he had been without shelter, he would not have survived.
Victor's father, however, believes his cousins may have harmed him. They were eight and nine years old at the time, and Victor's family hasn't spoken to their families since his disappearance.
A dark blue 1990 model pickup truck was seen in the area around the time Victor vanished. It has not been proven that the truck is connected to his disappearance in any way, but police are interested in speaking to the driver and finding out what he or she knows about Victor's disappearance.
Victor's case remains unsolved.

Thoughts? A few technical notes first:
-I am placing Victor's case in the Missing on TV section since his disappearance has been profiled been on America's Most Wanted (he was aired on at the very least the May 24th, 1994 episode briefly (I assume as breaking news since it was shortly after his disappearance)
-We did have a previous thread on Victor but it was not properly formatted for the forum. The poster who posted I haven't seen on our site in a long time but just in case he ever comes across our site again, I wanted to let him know he didn't do anything wrong, I just reformatted the thread so it would be easier to read and he is more than welcome to come back and post cases again
In any case, I don't mean to sound morbid but it seems glaringly obvious that Victor likely died the day he went missing, and the question is whether he died by accident or from foul play.
