Adji Desir has been missing from his neighbourhood for the past five years. He was aired on AMW in 2009 and I think 2010 (web.archive.org isn't working well for me right now).
On Jan 10, 2009, six-year old Adji was outside his grandmother's home in the Farm Workers Village neighbourhood of Immokalee, Florida, as his mother was working. He was playing with other children in the neighbourhood, but his grandmother called authorities after she couldn't locate him. Investigators don't consider his family as suspects and didn't find any evidence to support a theory that he was taken to Haiti.
Thoughts? The issue is that Adji is developmentally disabled, and functions at a two-year old level. He only spoke a few words in English and understands Haitian Creole, but doesn't speak it. Therefore he would make an easy victim for a child predator. What I'm curious about is whether the children Adji was playing with were interviewed, and if so, did they notice anything out of the ordinary. However, there doesn't seem to be much to work with in this case sadly.
