In late June of 1988, several migrant farm workers were planning on leaving their jobs in Washington County, Oregon to move up to Washington State. According to Newspapers.com, coyotes at their work camp in Oregon began to beat up the men as a result, and also kidnapped and transported them to the residence of Lorenzo Serrano-Gonzalez.
Once there, the beatings continued. The migrant labourers stated they had to pay more than $200 worth of food bills to leave the camp. One of the victims escaped and reached a church for assistance. Afterwards, the suspects, including Lorenzo Serrano-Gonzalez were arrested and charged with kidnapping, along with coercion.
On July 24, 1989, Lorenzo escaped from Oregon correctional authorities in the city of Salem. He has been on the run ever since.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the Santiam Correctional Institution at 503-378-5807 if you have any information on Lorenzo Serrano-Gonzalez's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, September 4, 2019, Lorenzo Serrano-Gonzalez is still at large since his photo and poster was recently added to the Oregon Department of Corrections Most Wanted page.
The issues with finally locating Lorenzo are first of all, that he would be nearing his late 70s by now. So it's probable but not guaranteed that he's likely still alive. The other thing is that if he's hiding out in Mexico, would Mexico extradite him for escape charges (original offenses being kidnapping and coercion).
I do appreciate Oregon authorities giving this manhunt one last chance at publicity though.
