On the morning of February 25, 1991, the body of Jacqueline Sawyer was found in her rented Chandler, Arizona home. The third-grade teacher had been stabbed and strangled to death and her body had been crammed into her bedroom closet.
A man fitting the description of Jacqueline's boyfriend, Luis Abel Ruiz Garcia was seen arguing with Jacqueline the night before her body was discovered. Authorities say that Jacqueline had been trying to end their relationship.
Luis was last known to have worked as a landscaper and at a carwash. He may be hiding out in San Luis Rio Colorado which is a Mexican border city across from Yuma, Arizona in the state of Sonora.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Chandler Police Department at 480-782-4000 if you have any information on Luis Abel Ruiz Garcia's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, August 25, 2019, Luis Abel Ruiz Garcia has been confirmed as still at large. The reason is that I contacted a "credible official source" last week as a one-time thing who advised me an active warrant still exists and Luis has not been arrested in either the US or Mexico.
According to Newspapers.com, Luis Garcia was profiled on America's Most Wanted in 1992. There were potential plans to re-air him in 2005 around the time that AMW was doing the cold case fugitive stories. That never happened since Luis was never even added to the AMW.com website.
The family of Jacqueline Sawyer finally needs to see Luis Garcia in a court of law on the alleged murder charges. Hopefully someone in either the US or Mexico can help make that happen
