From wtae.com:
It's been two years since a 25-year-old mother of two sets of twins was found brutally murdered near her home in Garfield and the family says they're desperate for closure.
Kala Thomas died of a gunshot wound to the head. Her body was found dumped over a hillside May 23, 2017.
Dianne Thomas, Kala's mother, says she called police every week for an update on the case but so far, there isn't enough evidence for an arrest.
"Everyday, I think about her." Thomas said. "It's not fair. She's gone and the person who did it is still out."
Family friend Diane Brown, reached out to The P.A.C.T. (Prevent Another Crime Today) Initiative for help. The group provided a billboard and a reward of $5,000 for information that leads to a conviction.
"The more we don't speak, the more that people who do things like this are going to feel comfortable, and they're going to get away with it," Brown said.

Thoughts? I am placing Kala's case in the Unsolved on TV section since In Pursuit with John Walsh posted about the search for her killer on their Facebook page yesterday (see the show's August 10th, 2019 status updates).
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a lot of additional information in terms of motive (I would like to know if Kala had any jealous ex-boyfriends and/or stalkers), but this is a beyond brutal case and I can't imagine what kind of sick monster would not only shoot a 25-year-old mother of four children, but put her in a dumpster like she was trash as well. This is unfair, and the person who did this needs to face justice.
