According to Newspapers.com archives, on May 25, 1987, Fermin Sanchez and an accomplice allegedly shot and killed 24-year old Tito Gurrero with a high-powered rifle. The accomplice was arrested but Fermin Sanchez went on the run.

Thoughts? As of today, August 10, 2019, Fermin Sanchez has listed active warrants in the FDLE and Hillsborough County Warrant Directory pages under the name of "Ferman Sanchez" so we know for sure he's still at large. I first learned about this case two years ago when I found a 2011 article through Newslibrary on active Hillsborough County fugitive cases, and this was one of the listed ones. Thankfully Newspapers.com had Fermin's photo saved from 1987 news articles.
