From wsbtv.com:
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - There is a massive manhunt underway in DeKalb County after authorities told Channel 2 Action News that a man shot an officer multiple times.
The scene unfolded on Hodgdon Corners Cove in Lithonia just after 1 a.m.
Police told Channel 2 Action News that officers were called to a home in reference to a domestic shooting when they were ambushed. Officer Derek Nunn was shot and rushed to the hospital where he underwent surgery and is recovering.
The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Otis Walker, also shot his girlfriend, police say. She died at the scene.
Officers said Walker is considered armed and dangerous. A $10,000 reward is being offered for anyone who has information leading to Walker's capture.
Channel 2's Darryn Moore was live on Channel 2 Action News This Morning as police, fire and SWAT officer swarmed the area.
According to court documents, Walker was recently released on bond on July 13. He was previously arrested in 2018 for battery and family violence.
A neighbor said he heard the gunfire and ran to help the injured officer.
“That’s when I put my car in park and was helping that officer,” Cleveland Dollison said. “They laid him down in the neighbor’s yard, she came out, we got towels, and we just tried to help, do what we could.”
Dollison said he helped to apply a tourniquet to the officer’s leg.
Neighbor Terrance Fielder said police came to his door and told him shots fired by Walker hit his home.
“We were asleep and when the gunfire went off it woke us up,” said Terrance Fielder.
Fielder said he later noticed a bullet hole in the bedroom where he and his wife were sleeping.
Neighbor Tammy Gresham said Walker is like a nephew to her.
“Turn yourself in. I know you’re scared. I know you’re hurting,” she said.
DeKalb police said Nunn is a three-year veteran of the department.
The GBI was called to investigate this officer-involved shooting. This is the 47th shooting involving a police officer in Georgia this year.
Anyone with information on Walker's whereabouts is asked to call DeKalb County police at 770-724-7850, or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.

Thoughts? I am placing this case in the Fugitives on TV section since In Pursuit with John Walsh posted about the manhunt on their Facebook page yesterday (see the show's August 2nd, 2019 status updates). So we know based on that and this being a breaking news case Walker was still at large at least as of 8/2/2019.
This is a very serious manhunt as Walker is wanted for both the murder of his girlfriend and attempted murder of a police officer. And although every fugitive wanted for a violent felony always needs to be considered armed and dangerous, I feel it's especially important here to stress that anyone who spots Walker should not take any actions themselves, but definitely call Crime Stoppers or 911 immediately.
